Account lost?

First of all, greetings to the community. I play discovery for about a month with my friends and so far I've earned over 100m and own a Kujira transport. Now there is a problem: my laptop's system crashed completely and there's no chance of recovery to it. Therefore I'm wondering if there is a chance that my account can be recovered so I can continue playing when I get another PC...

First - This subforum is the proper place for such threads. It's not about keeping forums clean, it's about helping your own request get noticed faster and easier, cause that's the place admins check most for help requests.

Then - As others already mentioned, best solution is PMing an admin with the list of your chars. They'll put a /movechar code on your ships and you can move them to a new account.

And last but not least - For future I suggest you use Discovery Launchpad to back up your accounts in an .ADF or .XML file and then attach it to an email and send it to yourself. That way, even if you loose your whole HD, you can still open your mailbox, download the attachment, import it back into the Launchpad and use your chars again with no trouble.

Or use Freelancer Account Manager This also lets you have several accounts so more characters. simply done by making a new acc on your comp going on FL on it exporting it to public files and importing it on to your admin account. These are also file types that you can e-mail yourself.

Thank you all so much, I'll go to my friend who has FL and disco installed, but it says that his account has been banned, but he didn't do anything :O
