If there is one thing I hate, its paperwork, but I guess I better start keeping a record of things gone by before my mind starts going walkabout without me.
I've finally gotten some credits together to get myself a Havok Mk II, those things pack a good punch from the rants I've heard from some angry Corsairs in the bar. If there is a ship that can tick of the Corsair pilots, its going to do well for defending the Freeport 1. Those damn Bretonians, thinking they can take our home because they got battleships and a brat for a queen, still got to give them credit for having the balls to come this far out from their homes while Kusari keeps hounding their front door.
But the Bretonians are still far from our only problems, Red Hessians, Corsairs, Mercenaries, we get all kinds of noisy brats in the bar around here. It's tough keeping them from tearing their throats out and shoving it down the bartenders own throat. Seriously, if there is a person who can scare war veterans, its him, he knows some grizzly stories that even gives me nightmares.
I best report to the damned administrator, got to register my ship in the defence roster to enforce the laws of the Freeport. We're out here for a reason. Our own damned reasons, our own damned business and our own damned piece of space. Nobody is going to take that from us. Come Hell or radiation burns!
