I am planning to run casino liner in either Bretonia or some of the borderworlds for "less" overwatch. It is all fine to play TExas Hold'em or roulette or some other games in general with other players for ingame cash?:)

I've seen other casino-type ships using the /dice and /coin commands to play a few betting games for in-game credits. I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with it.
But a game like Texas Hold 'Em would require a lot more than dice or coins. Unless we suddenly get a /cards command or something (and honestly, there are more important things for Cannon to work on than that), I don't know how you'll manage to play a fair card game on the server
@revange - which is precisely why I am asking about possiblity to run such card games, despite the fact that on FB it lets you play no matter the age.
@Zukenee - very simply, all I need is single deck of cards and PMs. Although harder to manage and alot of typing for dealer, it is doable, Thought about using credit cards for the game, for the sake of fun.
I got the idea generally how to do it without any bias and such, mainly using the stored chat, or if needed, whole part can be recorder on video (got 2TB storedrive), to make sure nobody tells me im biased.
Id like to know the admin input on the games though.

Pokemon has gambling in it, it has slots and i think another one and that's G rated. also i think a bunch of other games that are along the same lines have gambling elements
I've had a character who's both a gambling addict and an alcoholic lying around gathering dust for a while, wouldn't mind the idea personally. Might actually participate.
As for making gambling bannable, I don't think that's realistic, especially on an RP server, on a game. It's pretty unavoidable, considering the nature of the game and the /coin & /dice commands (which are awesome, for the record). That's just me though.
Besides, how's gambling worse than killing people anyway?:P
