Hi all,

Where do I get freelancer textures? I have designed a couple of ship models for submission but still don't have the textures. Can anyone please share with me the link to download them or if anyone has them, can you please forward me?

For example:

They are in DDS format.

Freelancer stores it's textures in the MAT files, which you can find usually in the parent folder of the base or ship model, or alongside the model files. The textures are usually in DDS, sometimes in TGA format. You can use various tools to extract them, check on the Startport for a couple of common ones, or in the developer section on this forum.

There is a UTF Image Exporter, which can export .dds files in and out from a .mat
