Yes, i'm interested in this aswell.

Bottlenose with CAU4 for example wont be able to be a snipeboat anymore?
And i would like to know it before 4.86 comes out, since if I am stuck on a base with an instant cheatmessage on undock with cau8 in hold, i wont be too happy...

good idea making it not availvle for gb...tbh its ment to be rare so should make it battleships onlykinda thing

They already do btw...

Got to looking at this but never followed up. As of right now they only consume cargo space when unmounted, but not when they are mounted (this is why you cannot unmount in some cases).

I for one am hoping that they consume cargo all the time so that every fight isn't about who brought the biggest armor. Also it makes some ships all weird, the Tridente gunship has 8 full guns and reflexes like a VHF by design, and it's ridiculous that it has room to mount a full cap8 armor upgrade on top of that. With 8 turrets soaking up cargo space in a gunSHIP it should not be able to mount anything bigger than cap6
