are death messages bugged

A couple of times in battle, right when I'm about to die, I have gotten the message that I was killed by an admin. I am pretty sure I was killed by the guys I was fighting, but when I've gotten that message I've also respaned with my cargo intact, so that tells me I was not killed by the enemy. So message is right, but server randomly assigned ownership of the kill to a non-present admin? Or what?

Yes, messages are bugged, didnt know it was respawning people with cargo though!
