Though this may seem facetious, I simply wanted to offer a hearty 'Thank You' for everything you have done and all the crap you put up with. You have created a beautiful game and a wonderful environment despite any flaws that may persist. That you have done all this for free only raises the pedestal we should all be placing you on.

So thank you. Thank you for Discovery. Thank you for (finally ;)) releasing 4.86. Thank you for putting up with us demanding community members. And thank you especially for not going completely insane and killing all us demanding community members in our sleep.

Goodness knows I'd be tempted...

Disco is Freelancer. Everything else is low activity. Thank you for keeping the game alive!

[color=#FFFFFF]Disco is Freelancer indeed, because it keeps about 80% vanilla stuff. Remove all the empty unused systems and create feasible scenarios and you can keep the game going for at least another decade, if the OS-es will support it that is...

So much this. Discovery is too large to seem active. Shrink the systems and encourage more activity. I'd even advocate something as radical as removingmiting Gallia as a factor. The BAF/KNF conflict was great fun - It encouraged activity from both sides and was one of my favorite parts of the game. In my humble opinion, Gallia kind of got in the way of that.

But that is just my two cents.

Not even in a 'thank you' thread can we stop complaining.

It's not complaining.

We are all VERY grateful to the dev team, and the admins who take time out of their lives just to please us. Nobody here is getting upset at them.

We can be both very grateful for the devs and brainstorm ideas for the server in a civil manner at the same time.
