Buddy, I wrote the laws. I know what is and is not illegal. What I'm trying to do is help you understand what is and is not profitable in the run you describe. If you don't want help and just want to complain that you aren't making money when you're doing the entire thing wrong in the first place, then there's really no reason anyone is talking to you. There are legal things for Junkers to do. Going to or from Tripoli Shipyard is not one of those things.

Yhis is not about making money. Well it is, and is not. It is also about us junkers who want to RP scrap miners/haulers, and make some cash doing it. Right now Mining makes less then trading. That is not the way is was meant to be, so i am trying to help get it that way.
We all know mining pretty much everything else makes = per hour as trading or more. Premscrap mining less.
' Wrote:Texas field, near Puerto Rico JH. Very very poor drops. Almost no rocks to shoot, and drop was 2-8 average.
NL field South west corner from our base. A little more to shoot then Texas, but drops were still 2-10.
Tried 2 areas i found in NY but they were utterly pointless, as drops were sometimes 0 up to 6 per.
I would try Some Rheinland spots, but my Junker is hostile to Corps, so all turn red if 1 shows up. Those are the main fields I know of for scrap. Not sure if some Premium Scrap locations elsewhere.
Try -inside- the darkmatter clouds in Texas (you'll have to go a fair distance into them, check the minimap for a second circle popping up). Else you can try the field north of Yanagi. The field you were in is indeed a lower yield zone, since the radiation is much lower. The two Negra clouds have radiation, the Yanagi field has hostile NPCs (Hogoshas) to balance out a much higher yield.
A transport / transport turret combination is recommended for the Negra nebulas. I'm not sure how long a CSV would last in there;)

See, the problem right now is that you're not taking into account a third of the profits. If Premium Scrap to Tripoli is buffed without taking into consideration the return run from Crete with Artifacts (the second most profitable run for Artifacts in terms of money/time), then someone else is going to bring Artifacts to New London from Crete and take advantage of those profits, creating an unbalanced trade run.
I'd like you to make money, too. Bringing back Artifacts is a step in the right direction.

I qq'd months ago about how scrap mining wasn't good enough. Now that I've disbanded that faction I tried to lead, it is now excellent and diversified into two commodities.
' Wrote:In Bretonia you're guilty unless you can prove yourself innocent.
Besides, anyone with half a brain can figure out that a Junker with Scrap Metal going to Cambridge is not taking the scrap to Liberty or Bretonia and if you were going to take scrap to Rheinland you may as well have started in Rheinland.
Not anymore, you can now sell Premium Scrap at Aland Shipyard in Omega 3!
