Some discussion about frequent symbols

So, first of all:

I have been thinking a lot about this before started this topic, but I'm a well curious guy and interested in your opinions. There are some symbols in the history what represents unacceptable values as the world proclaimed. Anybody can believe in anything (or nearly anything), but he must respect others feelings as I realised.

So, here is my topic suggestion:

As I realised the communist ideology is a popular subculture novadays and a significant part of the community using communist symbols, jokes, etc. and we have some communists factions ingame already. As a citizen of a postcommunist country, I have a different history like west-european or american, etc. players and as I realised I'm not the only one here.

As you already know, the communism caused more than 100 million deaths around the world in the XX. century and there are no accurate datas about the raped women, enslaved population, and many-many inhuman doings what have been made by communists.

Thats the cause behind my thinking and I'm still wondering about the freedom of communist symbols usage on forum. Maybe its about my previous experiences, since those symbols are forbidden in my country. Its the same for me for example, when you see a swastika as a jew.

Summary: I would like to hear other opinions about this, since the community is so sensitive about underclothes, ponies, animes while there are a complete subculture of the communism.

This is total discrimination.

Relatives and friends of mine died or where imprisoned in dirt holes for years just for fighting for communism, its an ideal. I do not consider myself a communist but respect those revolutionary men and women. Do you stop to think how much threads like this can affect people who read them?

I mean... communism killed 100 million people? NO! People killed 100 million people!
