Baroness Hunter, Fleet Admiral of the Bretonian Armed Forces;
The leadership of the Independent Miners' Guild believes its time to discuss several important things with the Bretonian Admiralty. However, we feel that it would be more appropriate if we personally invite you to the Cardiff Facility and not make the discussion through official channels.
We eagerly await your responce.
Yours faithsfully, [font=Viner Hand ITC]Alan Smith

I must admit, Guild Master, not everyone in Bretonia trusts all of the IMG employees. I'd feel far more comfortable in another location. A neutral, secure location can be made available on any of Bretonia's planets with relative ease, and I'd suggest we meet on one of them.

Baroness Hunter, Fleet Admiral of the Bretonian Armed Forces;
I have to admit that the fact that you do not even trust our organisation into conducting a simple diplomatic visit to our station in Cambridge is very unexpected and something which greatly concerns the Board. In addition, your visit would have been a huge boost to the Bretonians' morale who are working in this facility.
Regardless, we still wish this meeting to be held. Picking a neutral location in order to meet you is considered unimportant since the Guild does not consider Bretonia as an enemy but rather as a strong friend. If you can make sure that we will have a private and unmonitored conversation then I don't mind visiting you even in your Flagship, Baroness Hunter.
Yours faithsfully, [font=Viner Hand ITC]Alan Smith

Please do understand that it is not due to a lack of trust we have in the intents of your organization. The problem arises in the fact that we cannot be assured of every person aboard the Cardiff. As it belongs to your Guild, the Armed Forces has no security of its own on the base, and thus our usual precautions cannot be applied directly.
In most cases this could be dealt with by having a trained security detachment accompany me aboard, but as you wish not to make this official or highly advertised, we can hardly bring a destroyer squad and accompanying marines, and as you know, the life of an Admiral is highly valued by any of our legion of adversaries. I pray you and the rest of your board do not take this personally. This is purely a security issue and the threat doesn't come from your organization, but from so-called lone wolf attacks, where a single person, for whatever purpose, sacrifices their life in exchange for their targets'. That being my own in this case, and it would please me if you could forgive my rude requests.
It will be easiest for us to have this meeting away from prying eyes and angry minds on Planet Cambridge. If this is acceptable to you.

Baroness Hunter, Fleet Admiral of the Bretonian Armed Forces;
I thought it was obvious that in official diplomatic visits the host - and in that case the Guild - does make sure it provides the necessary security, accommodation, comforts and especially if that person is also the head of a House military. It seems that I should have probably mentioned that and for that I apologize.
Planet Cambridge is quite close to Cardiff, my Baroness. You can expect the arrival of my shuttle soon.
