Vorandril is standing in front of his chair on the bridge of his Conference class, this time in a casual suit and his face shows that he's rather frustrated. As his rant goes on, the frustration fades and instead shows his determination to his cause.
"Moebus, I will put this bluntly since my previous attempts at subtlety have failed to be noticed by you.
Stop whining or you will not retain your seat of leadership within Pheonix.
Your words and actions are that of a teenager who feels slighted because the girl they like was asked out on a date by someone else. You on a personal level may dislike OSI. Oops, I guess I let that little cat out of the bag. But there are comments you make which are specifically detrimental to not only Pheonix's growth. But the safety of every zoner and visitor to the freeports in the omicrons.
Every declaration you've made in regards to policy has been that of a paranoid child. To that end I am warning you now. Grow up and move on, or I will personally remove you from where you sit. Neutrality and peaceful means of resolving conflicts are supposed to be the zoner way. I apologize that this message doesn't fit with the peaceful part. But your declarations of missions such as "Observe OSI" and your repeated comments how we should not be at peace with the corsairs are a danger to the neutrailty of every zoner. Not just yourself. Specifically the way you keep saying OSI "stole" administration from "us". The way you say it obviously shows your disposition that you still believe yourself to be an Omicroner even though you dare to keep saying you don't. You're living a lie and I'm calling you out on your two faced approach of doing business.
If you want to take your own life by flying against a fleet of Benitez cruisers while flipping the bird at OSI, you may do so. Every Zoner is free to live their life.
But myself, for the safety of the freeports I swore to protect, will be in that line of cruisers shooting you down.
Do I make myself clear?
There will be no more of this petty planning to steal Livadia, or attempts to convince people that OSI 'stole' Omicron 74 from you. You're not that important and OSI has the means to manage all of these stations. Did you ever stop to request permission to administrate Livadia alongside OSI? No, your pride keeps you from doing so.
Why am I so frustrated with you? Why am I sending you such a threatening transmission? Because subtle hints that you're only causing Pheonix to be an issue for others fell on deaf ears. When I pointed out peace with the corsairs was beneficial, you outright argued with me that they didn't deserve it. We may have vessels classified as battlecruisers, but ours are exploratory vessels and colony ships. The Corsair ships are built for WAR, Moebus. And you're a fool if you think everyone will rush to help the freeports if its a fight we picked.
I leave you this message and I want you to think long and hard before you reply to me. Because your next words will determine exactly how much leniency is given to you considering the following datalinks. And yes, this condemns other members of pheonix. You might wonder why.
Because in a position of leadership it's your responsibility to reign in those who do subject themselves to your command. You don't do this. And this building aggression MUST end or you'll just get us all killed."
He turns on his heel then and begins pushing buttons on the armrest of his chair, then the video feed is replaced by previous transmissions-
After a few moments the screens disapear and are available for downloads, "Why did I wait to call you out? Mostly fools hope that you might catch on and get over your petty grudges. But now I think it was a lack of evidence. Which I have since fixed. But I'm through with patience in this. You're a danger to people Moebus, and mildly deranged. I will wait for your reply before I determine if any action is needed against you or if you will let this end peacefully.
Oh, and one last thing. Settign up a local network off of the neural-net? Not as witty as you'd like to think. Since the bloody thing is unstable anyway and was made in a vain attempt to 'keep OSI from seeing what we're doing' as you put it. If your dealings require you to hide from those who should be your allies, you deserve to be caught.
Vorandril out."
The message cuts out then, leaving nothing but an oddly ominous black screen with the words "Transmission: Ended." across the screen.
((The "Copy To: are non tracable. So no one knows who else this was sent to."

what are you talking about? what previous attempt are you referring too?
I don't know what is your problem, but I am afraid you are not in position to impose your will like you think you can. You may disagree with my opinion but in that case you are more than welcome to discuss about it. We have a forum for that purpose why did not you use it? As far I know, you did not post anything against the OSI policy. Remember that silent is consent.
Regarding corsairs I never said we should not be at peace with them. I am still in contact with Benitez and I recently sent a message to the Corsairs court to solve a diplomacy issue meaning I recognize this corsairs institution. Also, for your information I was the first zoner to start negotiating peace with corsairs after the RR event in Corfu, ask Vittorio Sanchez and Jose Benitez if you don't trust me.
Sending data from our forum in this channel is completely irrelevant and may affect the security of our forum.
Considering the situation, I have to ban you from the Phoenix as a temporary measure due to your behavior. I am still interest to hear you about your perception of things, then depending on how evolve the situation your ban may become permanent or canceled.
"The fact that you are still unaware of comments that I made about this only furthers my point about subtlety going over your head. There are even two instances of me making such comments in the datalinks I sent you in the first reply. While speaking over the S.K.Y.P.E protocols my disagreements with statements of policy were either ignored or outright argued with. I recall one instance around Livadia shipyard with another pheonix member where I mentioned I had delivered food to planet Crete. The reply to this act of humanitarianism?
"Good job"? No. "Every little bit we do should help smooth things over with the corsairs."? No.
The answer I got from you and your second in command was more to the tune of "How dare you? After all they've done to us." And the subsequent comments I had made about how we can't afford them as enemies. Again and again. I feel like a broken record Moebus, because I keep having to repeat myself for you to understand. My only regret is that I had no logs from that evening, I didn't think I'd need them at that point.
Quote:Regarding corsairs I never said we should not be at peace with them.
Quote:Ask Vittorio Sanchez and Jose Benitez if you don't trust me.
That's exactly part of the issue, Moebus. There is a major difference between setting up covert operations and being two-faced in your dealings. You've fit the operation of Pheonix into the second description. I really cannot bring myself to trust you. In this or any other regard.
Further, You may have initiated talks -in the past- but that is only that. In the past. I'm discussing the issues of your shoddy leadership at present.
Would it suprise you that I'm also in communication with Mr. Buoncore who refused docking rights to any ship flying under the Pheonix Tag, because someone attacked a Corsair barge? I wonder if you realize how much your leadership almost cost the life of a Whale's entire crew.
I have a more pertinent and less acussatory question for you. I copy messages from transmissions on the Pheonix network, which displays no access from anywhere on the datalinks. How in the name of all you hold holy would anyone manage to bypass the security and access the network in the first place?
I'm still curious how you justified the building of said network when none of our actual dealings were so covert as to not have them built on the neural net. In fact, the comments above seem to be the only things giving it a reason to exist.
Peculiar..."
Vorandril sighs as he brings up your previous message and an obvious tick starts up in his eyebrow.

"You really don't have any idea how much I have issues with this statement, do you? Allow me to nitpick your words for a moment, Moebus."
Quote:You may disagree with my opinion but in that case you are more than welcome to discuss about it. We have a forum for that purpose why did not you use it?
"I did. Multiple times. Anything I said was met with argument. Could I just leave Pheonix and find a group where the leadership's goals were more in line with my own? No, because I couldn't leave you to run a paramilitary group that is turning into a huge liability."
Quote:As far I know, you did not post anything against the OSI policy. Remember that silent is consent.
"You really believe I said nothing... Either you're throwing out very vain attempts at saving face or you are deluded. Do not dare acuse me of being passive in this, Moebus. I have made comments on this matter, and many others. Such as when I took control of diplomacy with planet Gammu and the AI's. AI's that one of your officers suggested we drop a planet wide EMP on so we could build a base there. Silence is consent, but you being deaf does not mean I consent to anything."
Quote:I am afraid you are not in position to impose your will like you think you can.
"Is that so? Because the last I checked, I had also sent this message to not only you and members of Pheonix but also to OSI leadership and the COF admins to make them aware of just how much a liability you are to the safety of every Zoner in the Omicrons. And I swear I don't wish for it to come to this; but if you don't start seriously considering my words I may have to continue my discussion with Mr. Buoncore about the ships that attacked his Barge.
These troubles I have with you are also not shared by myself alone. There are others within pheonix that have expressed their disaproval to me, so this is not the complaints of a single madman. Allow me to put this in a better perspective for you...
If you do not start running this outfit in a way better befitting a Zoner, and reign in your warmongering second in command, it will not be only myself you answer to. It will be the CoF. Omicron Supply. Myself. The rest of Pheonix. The Corsair Elders. The AI's on Gammu. There is a lot more people who will have issues with this should it be made aware to them and you can't afford that. The deck is stacked against you, and your next words had bloody well be wiser than the previous ones."

well, I still think you have a wrong perception of things. After reading your first message, I expected we have a small disagreement but it seems it is a major one. I disagree with almost everything you said. Unfortunately I don't have the time to explain all the points in details. As I see it, our problem is mostly a problem of communication. I expected you contested the policy of the Phoenix on our forum while you were thinking it was alright to do it in "live transmissions". Now things went too far and I really think it is better for you and us that you leave the Phoenix.
So thank you for your contribution to our group and good luck in your projects in the future,
Dankien Moebus
Vorandril sighs as he rubs his eyes, "So, instead of giving anything I say any credence. Instead of viewing it as a warning and bothering to see reason... Your method of problem solving involves shoving your head in the sand and muttering 'I can't hear you' again and again?"
The captain lowers his hand and there's a noticable throb in his temple. His voice seems somewhere between exasperated and annoyed, "Moebus, I don't think you understand the gravity and long term implications of what you have said, nor what I have said. If you don't feel you have the time to respond and explain why you allow these policies to continue then..."
Again the captain sighs and with a slow shake of his head, "It seems there really isn't any point in continuing this. You can't, or refuse to, see the glaring issues with how Pheonix is currently being run. I only hope the death toll is minimal when it comes crashing down around you. May the gates of Baator have mercy on you and those who remain under your command. To any within pheonix who see what I was pointing out, I urge you to contact me privately using S.K.Y.P.E. Protocols. I personally guarentee and will ensure the security and that none will know you contacted me. The purposes of this is simple. I would like at least some form of contact so that Zoners as a whole might be warned if the actions of Pheonix will lead to the endangerment of the freeports or any Zoners within the Omicrons. Good luck to you all..."
Vorandril cuts the transmission.
