I'll check to see if that works. My understanding of it was that the base can't have less than 400, so if there are 450 the most you could sell would be 50.
Edit: Nope. I set the minimum above the number we had in stock and it still sold them off. If anyone wants to purchase the services of one of our skilled technicians for one billion creds, you are more than welcome to.
I heard that the 13th's base had the crew price set stupidly high. Maybe they were having this problem too?

Yes we did have the same problem, some b****** decided to overload the base with 4k of crew thereby draining all the essential commods so the crew would start dying off faster, a sure fire way to destroy any base as once the crew reaches below the minimum number reqd to run the station. The hull literally tears itself apart til its destroyed or if the crew number hits 0 the base goes BOOM.
This may have been an accident but I did suspect foul play. The way around it though was simple set Spacecrew to BUY ONLY at a price of 1 Bill per unit. Thus aslong as the base always had less than 1 bill in cash it would never be able to buy anymore crew!!! Problem Solved.
BTW your base Brimstones hull is going down quite a bit now at 60% I would get on it if I were you!
