So we have an item that is set to price 1, min 2500 and max 2500. There are 3000 of that item on the base. I can dock and buy all of it out (not logging in as an admin). This is bad.
Is it possible to make it so the base won't sell the item to the point where it falls under its min threshold? In this case it would only put 500 up for sell.
Actually, that's a fair question, but, might I clarify, seeing as it can only go above the 2500 maximum from a base admin's input (either offloading or lowering the max) is this prblem still here if there's say, 2500 units exactly. Can non-admins still buy?
I went and got 1500 of the good. Docked (didn't login) sold all 1500 to the base, the base then put the good up for sell and I was able to purchase all 3000 from the base.
Is there anyway to prevent this? I could set the settings to 100k 100k with a price of 1, but that means I can't pay my faction members for supplying the base when it is needed.

Give them cloaks/FTL Drives/Docking Bays instead;)
Though in all honesty this should be given some attention.

Confirmed. This has happened with Spaceship Crew to me.

Yes I think I've seen this; not sure if my solution works though.
Have you tried to set the minimum to 2500 and the maximum to 2501 therefore you now have a difference of 1 rather than zero. I'm not in a position to try it right now; but it's an idea.
It would have been nice if Cannon had left the [BUYONLY] field in.
So I think I figured out a work around after some tinkering.
min 100k max 2500
This setting will allow people to see goods to the base as long as the stock is below 2500. However, they can still over stock the base. That means if the base has 2499 of the good, they can sell their entire cargo hold to the base. At most they can over stock your base by 4999.
This setting also prevents anyone from buying the good from the base as the stock is always below the min setting.
That pretty much achieves what I wanted, I think.
Edit: Oh and if you want to make it so people can buy an item from your base, but not sell it. You're out of luck. I've not found a setting that allows that. What I plan to do is the following:
min 0 max XXX
Where XXX is the max amount of the good I currently have in stock. That means people can buy it from me, but they cannot sell me more than I already have. I stand to lose nothing if they sell the items back.
If you know a setting that is buy only, please pm me!
Edit 2:
Good in stock is 5.
min 1 max 0
This should allow a person to dock and buy the good as it is above the min. It shouldn't allow them to sell the good to the base because it is over the max.
