I represent a quiet monastic order. We have been attempting to establish a small settlement which technically lies within Bretonian borders. Attempts have been made to place the establishment beyond the reach of your civilian populace or practical military reach. In short, far enough into the fringe that it would not matter.
The efforts of my last three construction contracts have been met with hostile raids during the midnight hours. Given that no party has boasted credit, and given the evident breach in Bretonian law presented by the construction of these installations, I am forced to believe that the Bretonian lawful authorities are responsible.
The truth behind this assumption is irrelevant. Members of our order are called to forgiveness, which we give freely. Thus we are here to ask for the authorized construction of our small abbey. The ultimate purpose of this establishment was to create a hospital and home for the many lost souls of Bretonia.
Please respond to this communique as quickly as convenient.
