Today, a hastily assembled team of local Junkers from Rochester Station, raided the Xeno criminal stronghold of Tau-45 system to rescue a stranded trade pilot and his helpless passengers after a navigational mishap.
As usual, the Xenos responded to this vessel in distress as "hostile" and were preparing to board it and savage its occupants in their normal, sadistic fashion.
A rescue mission was then organized hastily by the Junker Congress--well experienced with Xeno aggression--and dispatched to save the passengers and crew of the unnamed, stranded vessel.
Junkers .:J:.Tinkerbell, .:j:.Taylor, Blazer and a hastily conscripted armored transport piloted by freelancer "shane" were sent to Tau-45 with little time to prepare--lives were at stake.
In the ensuing action, two "XA" pilots, "Sunbeam" and "Viper" were pounded and battered with the first ship exploding in a fiery nuclear mine blast and the second retreating in terror and depression after a fierce melee with the armored transport and its escorts.
.:j:.Taylor and Blaze were downed after taking several of the "elite" Xeno Guards eagle VHFs down. Both pilots ejected and were recovered safely. Their heroic action bought time for .:j:.Tinkerbell to locate the wreck--perched right on the blazing edge of Tau-45's blue-hot sun's corona. .:j:.Tinkerbell's Arrow LF was able to hold off fourteen Xeno guards units in the sun's corona for five minutes while pilot shane evaded the Xeno Viper and reached the disabled transport ship. .:j:.Tinkerbell, chief arbiter of the newly initiated "Junker Congress" and speaker of the Junker Guard's Party, ejected just before the extreme radiation of Tau's young sun destroyed his arrow fighter. He was recovered along with the passengers of the stricken lost transport and all were returned to Rochester safely.
In a last ditch effort to recover from their humiliating defeat in their own most strongly defended military system, a lone Xeno bomber launched a fruitless assault on Rochester. Rochester's new defense grid and fighter screen quickly contained and eliminated the threat and afterwards a lone SA vessel passed by to scan the remaining wreckage. Fortunately, the Junkers were able to provide their own defense and did not suffer losses due to the SA's slow reponse time.
Awards and rewards were given to all involved in the action. A great day for all Junkers and the beginning of the end for Xeno terror!
