A seemingly easy-going fellow, acting almost like a wrangler in his speech. He tends seem like he doesn't take things seriously, which is not true. Under the naive surface lies a calculating person.. but it's mostly buried away by the adrenaline addiction and thrill-seeking persona.
Background:
Hoihe dacino was born 787, Manhattan of New York system. He had a mostly easy early life, thanks to being a citizen of one of the most prominient planets of the Liberty... It ended soon, for his family took it upon themselves to become zoners, and took yougn Hoihe with them.
By his 10th year, he travelled visited more planets than even your usual Liberty Police Officer. It was a hard life, only thing that made it easy on him was that his parents acted as tourist transport as a side-job, when they were not out in the frontier and deep space, and such owned a luxury liner.
One day, year 800 pirates attacked his mother's ship... and utterly destroyed it. Their entire wealth aboard that wreck, the last two of the family were forced to retire to Liberty space so that they may rebuild wealth.
Unfortunately, Manhattan was overflooding with the refugees from Freeport 7, making obtaining a new settlement difficult. Meanwhile on Pittsburg, new work-force was required, and his father being a burly one, took it upon himself to obtain money from here. News on Schutzky's assasination reached them, and afraid from the piracy or terrorism, they sold their space-faring devices and kept on the planet for a good decade.
10 years later, his father died of intoxication from working in areas without the proper safety measures. Hoihe was left alone to keep his family name up... Mining was not made for him, but he retained his parents' advnetureous spirit. From what he inherit, he bought a small Firefly, equipped it with armanents and began acting as a vigilante againts pirates and various threats, accepting jobs from the Navy, the zoners and practically everyone. It was a hard life, but that made it only more inviting for him. The thrill of being shot at, the thrill of taking out pirates, the thrill of being praised by his employers for a job well done... was enough for him.
Another accident, 819, at the age of 32 he stumbled upon a major pirate outpost... and barely made it away with a wreck that he managed to exchange for a Rhino on planet Erie... tales told of the ease of credits that helium mining in the space makes. He might not like mining... but pirates often frequented the nebulae and that is what kept him there... slowly building credits. He began considering the occasional offer to become a full-fledged member of the crime-fighting organisations... but he still didn't have enough cash to support his reckless flying tactics.
