Okay I didn't know where else to post it, as the sub-sections had mostly to do for balance, but if there is a dedicated thread for it, mods feel free to move my post. Thank you.
Golden Chrysanthemums are considered a lawful and legitimate movement in Liberty. That used to be the case even in .85 when there was no rephack and [GC] faction used to travel a lot there. Now with the new rephacks, Liberty lawful factions are automatically repped as hostile.
Simply put, I'm requesting for this to be reversed. I am pretty confident that it was an overlooking over the part of the dev team, and not an official change in the diplomacy between GC and Liberty.
I can vouch for this, GC were not known as criminals in Liberty (not that some of us didn't smuggle a bit here and there). Shouldn't be a rephack in place on this.
Correct. Many found weird rephacks being applied when they logged in today. the best we can do is centralise all these problems so we can give a full list of the wrong rephacks
we have already added some of these problems here just use the rep hack header
Well, I refrained from replying there as it wasn't a bug but an overlooking since the spreadsheet with the rephacks actually listed that GC ID would turn into hostile in Liberty (I hadn't noticed it before), but it's okay for me to copy my post there. Thanks.
I also support this move. Both for the reasons as stated above and I have a faction using the GC ID that has a vested interest in trade and diplomacy with Liberty.
Considering the general political situation and Liberty's cold relations with Kusari, and the history of Kusari allowing (if not outright sanctioning) use of pro-government militias to pirate Liberty trade in Kusari, the Liberty government and economic sphere would probably look favorably upon the GC as a way to get back at Kusari (since they're a bit more obscure then the Blood Dragons, and it wouldn't look like overtly supporting the takedown of the Kusari Government).
Heck, IC practically funds the GC to a degree, and lets them use their bases. As well, it would give the GC something to do if Cardamine Running were to become viable. Some minor trade routes (for mundane supplies) would also be beneficial.
So yes, it makes practical sense the GC ID be let atleast neutral to Liberty.
