"Oh, and I suppose you want to ally yourselves with the Corsairs because they helped us when we really needed it? Disgraceful and pathetic. Not a single Corsair ship was at the Battle of Toledo. Not a single one. They obviously turned their backs on us when we really needed it. An alliance would be a joke, they won't help us. Ask yourself this, did you see a single Corsair capital, fighter or bomber at the fall of Toledo? I sure as hell didn't, and I witnessed the destruction of the planet first hand!

An alliance with those backstabbing cowards is out of the question as far as I'm concerned. You ally yourselves with them, you lost not only my support, but the houses of Rheinland and Bretonia, who I shall remind you are at bloody war with the 'Sairs. You'll also lose any progress you want to make with ending this pathetic war with the Guild Core. Our primary job is to protect Sirius from aliens, not be the cause of more suffering.

Hostilities need to end between The Order, and Liberty, and The Order and the Guild Core. Have over prisoners, hand over our technology, hell... hand over bloody traitors. But an alliance with... cowards who said they were your allies and who stated they have your back only to turn their back on yours when you needed it most? That should be the last thing you want. Continuing down this 'Alliance with the Corsairs to fight Guild Core' path will just lead to a second Toledo, but on a much larger scale than just a few thousand Order operatives.

Every populated planet in Sirius is within striking distance from that thing that destroyed Toledo. Keep that in mind, comrades. All of your homes... are within striking distance. I sure as hell don't want a cowardly force backing me when that alien comes into Cambridge and destroys my home."

The need for alliances is acute and understandable....but getting entire houses, factions to ally with us and
our means? That's an impossibility, and one we've all struggled against and failed. Organisations of that scaleare...inflexible in many respects. Not to mention that our hands are empty. We have precious little to bring to a diplomatic engagement, as you're all aware. Fleets, military strength? There is precious little of both.

What is easier is convincing individuals, and people. Convince individuals of the situation, and you'll find that is easier to gain help in this way. There can be no talk of alliances just yet, for the threat is not immediate
for them. But the more supporters we gain behind the curtain, the easier it will be to tip the balance
in our favor when the war strikes.

Cajole, manipulate, speak the truth, or deceive as needed, but ensure that all across Sirius, there are
small groups of people who understand and who prepare.

I haven't been terribly involved in the Core conflict, so parts of the nature of our war are unknown to me. If peace through diplomacy is impossible, then we shall need to deal with them another way. But we can't do that alone. The Corsairs are hardly ideal and would end up making more enemies than friends. No, our best chance is to get the people of Sirius on our side. That means placating their governments. Simply giving them evidence of the Nomad's destructive powers should be enough to rattle their cages sufficiently. Fear is a powerful tool that we need to exploit if we're to have any chance at turning this war around.

Alliance with Corsairs as it was years ago was not my intention. In my mind is to drag Corsairs into conflict with Core itself if possible. Do a note few Corsair vessels recently, surprisingly to me, engaged Core station in Omicron Lost while our forces sieged it. Now as the mentioned base is history, imagine if their bloodlust could be directed at our common enemies.

It doesn't matter if the houses think they're at risk or not. What matters is that we know they're at risk, because they are whether you chaps like it or not. Alaska is the only system that lies between New York and Omicron Minor. That means Manhattan can be destroyed in a matter of minutes, and the rest of humanity in a matter of days or weeks. We need to stop this internal debating as it's not getting us anywhere and actually begin acting now.

Subject: Dealing with the threat

[color=#FFCC99]This is Samuel Kane of the Primaries, thought I should just say what I think about this whole mess, instead of staying silent and letting it bother me.

Until that day they took our home from us, we had known the nomads for their sneaky ways, corrupting critical parts in human society to turn us into their slaves or direct us to our misery, inevitably our end. The original Order, our veterans like Agent Zane, succeeded to halt the Nomads' progress by giving them a strike to their heart, it appeared so at least.

Being in the field for years with the tasks I was given, I know there are people out there in important and common places manipulating the governments to work in their way. There is only one way, in my opinion, for the Governments of Sirius to be able to so fervently manage to stay ignorant to the threat for so long, their organizations are already deeply infiltrated by the Nomads. Whatever the Governments see, they forget, whatever they hear, they ignore, instead of focusing on this extreme danger we are facing, they start campaigns against the other Houses, they still continue their pointless struggles against each others.

On the other hand, I am sure even if the Corsairs proved to be an amazingly loyal ally that offered whole of their resources to our cause (which I am sure will not happen, as they are even more willing than the Houses when it comes to warring whatever is in close proximity to them), they are not enough. We will need more than just them. And I guess convincing everyone to stop fighting between each others just like that to focus on this nomad threat will be more than just a little hard. However, Mr. Chamberlain, you are free to try to convince the governments, I am sure we will be happy to provide the necessary resources for your 'diplomatic missions'. If you think it's possible, you are already a step ahaed of ourselves and no one else is more fit than you, so you get to have the job. Tell me if I am wrong. If you can alert the Houses and persuade them to work against the nomads, everything will be solved just like that, hopefully.

But what if Mr. Chamberlain fails? We know it, we are not strong enough to stop what's inevitable ourselves, and we need help. Not doing anything to change this situation is as bad as giving up and letting the nomads steamroll through Omicrons into the House systems. I think what Taweret says is just about the only alternative we have, we need to convince the humanity as a whole to work against the Nomads. We need to step out of the shadows, be less secretive and more loudmouths. It's time to use more of our resources to increase the awareness for this threat. After all, it's up to the humanity itself to free themselves of this nomad plague, and what we can do is to provide that spark, lighting up that flame of resistance in the hearts of our people, by letting them know despite being hindered by whatever force there may be out there.

We should leave our home once again, and travel with the knowledge we have, disseminate it to the common people in any way we can. Any society will be forced to change with the people's awareness, they themselves will look out for their own organizations, they will cleanse whatever is corrupted and build anew and strongly against the threat we face.

Nomads can only succeed if humanity stays ignorant.

My name is Joe Daniels, a Colonel and leader of Cerberus. We have been absent for a little while, but we are back from a covert mission. Some of you may know me, some of you may not, but Cerberus has always been around. I agree with Mister Kane, we should step out of the shadows, as far as that's possible and confront Sirius as a whole, make them realize the threat and the gravity of the situation. We will need to bypass the media barrier Liberty has, otherwise they will just filter it out. I'll see if any of my old contacts can spring a leak to get it to the public.

I also agree with Mister Chamberlain that for one, we have to take action yesterday rather than tomorrow. Plus, we can't trust the Corsairs and their backstabbing politics. What about our friends the Blood Dragons? I had the pleasure of seeing a Togo some weeks ago being escorted by a wing of fighters. If they have them flying around they should be able to pack a punch. We will need everything we have gentlemen and we need it fast. Let's round this debate up and get to work. Godspeed gentlemen, Godspeed...
