Greetings old friends.
The Legion wants to speak with the new goverment of the Colonial Republic about refreshing the friendship we once had in the past since we are practically neightbours in these parts and we share many common enemies like the Rogue, Outcasts and other terrorists.
As you've witnessed today, the Rogues are on the rise again and they've brought plenty of their Outcast friends. From what I've heard, you have no problem shooting Rogues or their friends and we have reasons to believe that the Outcasts will bring even more ships to assist the Rogues in this war which means we will have enemies at our doorstep.

[15.08.2012 21:08:59] MNS-Cardamine: Almeida: We are just the spearhead. Here to gather information
[15.08.2012 21:09:15] MNS-Cardamine: Almeida: Maybe part of our fleet will move here, maybe not. It really all depends on you
We propose to join our forces against this swarm of pirates and terrorists and beat them back to whatever hole they crawled out from.
Military reports show that elements of the Hellfire Legion aided a member of one of our squadrons, in the California system. While I can tell you that the reason for that fighter being there was something of a fluke, I am glad that, in the face of overwhelming odds, he found aid fighting beside you.
In this time, the Colonial Republic is rebuilding. In the past, much distance separated our two nations. In that time, the Republic was engaged in a seemingly never ending war with the outcasts of malta. Even today, we continue to destroy their assets as targets of opportunity - while we have become focused with an altogether different enemy - Gallia.
The bulk of our line units and active duty squadrons - what remains of them, since a considerable part of our former military has gone rogue - are serving in the Tau Systems, on the Gallic Border. The units we have deployed in Coronado and Cortez are an anti-pirate taskforce.
If what you say is true, and that the outcasts are planning on sending significant reinforcements to Liberty, to aid the Rogues - then they will most likely have to pass through the Coronado system in or to do so. Or, they have to risk the fortified invasion corridor, and then into the front lines of Bretonia. For all their resources, I doubt the outcasts would risk sending ships into a warzone. Passing through Coronado will bring them right to our doorstep, in which case we will be happy to destroy any that we find.
At the moment, I am unsure whether we can stretch our deployment to cover sorties into Liberty Space. Our units in Cortez and Coronado have become entrenched in a bloody daily conflict with a pirate band that seem incredibly well supplied for all their military hardware - perhaps you've heard of them? They are known as the "Indians."
For as much as we have been able to destroy their ships, they seem to have a vast supply of reserves - something that we lack.
If you can assist us in curbing their advances, we will deploy units to aid your war in Liberty.
It is good to have friends.

I'm glad you replied swiftly.
We are familiar with the Indians and how much trouble they can be if you're not prepared for them. We will deploy the HFC-Redeemer and a Prosecutor wing to assist your forces against them. I hope this will bring our two factions closer.
