A little off track and I apologise in advance but having read some of the earlier posts, the home planet of the Corsairs is CRETE.
The home planet of the Outcasts is MALTA.
Neither of these are Spainish but both are in the Mediteranean (not unlike much of Spain or even Italy for that matter) and whilst I am sure you all knew this, I just thought I'd point it out.
