I used to play it a lot when I was younger. It'd be interesting to go back to it now and see how it compares to my memories.

Some of the guys from The Zone have continued playing, and have gotten better. It'd take a while to catch back up before you can play really competitively. But it is still fun and there's a couple communities still active.

To me it was always one of those games that was simple enough to relearn, it was just all the tricks people would figure out that were harder to grasp. Like in DEFCON.

To me it was always one of those games that was simple enough to relearn, it was just all the tricks people would figure out that were harder to grasp. Like in DEFCON.

That's the fun of it. It's simple.. yet so complex and the options of how to achieve victory are so vast. A lot of different techniques and styles and such.
