I'd just like to inform you that there have been some interesting developments on my end here lately. First and foremost happens to be my... untimely demotion for a clear lack of communication between the Armed Forces High-Command, and it's Mid-Command. On top of that, I happen to be ungratefully stuck here in Bretonia until... chaps up top get their arses... that's a rant for another time, eh?
Secondly, it seems that Liberty has started to actually deploy vessels out this way, seeing as I spoke with Rachel in Leeds, rather than around Manhattan. So... we're starting to get an extra buffer here in Leeds.
Thirdly, I managed to get a personal audience with the Emperor-in-Exile, Daichi Kogen. I've informed him about our plans and a few details that I could do, and it seems he's hesitant about them, but also supports the plans we're currently laying in place, and I use the term support loosely. On top of that, if you have anything that needs to be relayed to the Emperor, and can't do it yourself. Contact me. I'm apparently his official unofficial personal liaison to Samura.
Anyways... that's, pretty much it.
Lieutenant Commander Austin R. Goodman, CC
Commanding Officer of the Invictus,
5th Fleet Headquarters, The Suffolk
I'm sorry to hear about your demotion, Unjust I'm sure.
I'm glad to hear about your meeting with Emperor Kogen, however. It is good to see that he is at least somewhat supportive of what we discussed. I've recently travelled back into Kusari anyway. A new wave of transport Captains need training, requires me to be here to oversee that.
I'm going to attempt to secure passage into Bretonia. Hopefully your government, when I ask, will be so kind as to Permit me. It can only benefit them in the Long run.
For now, Stay safe. I'm hearing some rumors of change.
Sayonara,
Kaido Marahu.
PS: If you see Rachel... tell her I said Hi, and that I miss her.
