Is it just me, or do others also get that page while trying to enter forum? My antivirus has all the newest updates, I'm sure my PC is clean. Are we participating in "a project to stop attacks(...)" ?

Yes.
You will see this message in error sometimes - particularly if you have a dynamic IP. Other computers with IP addresses near yours have viruses and are spambot hosts. When the server sees your IP, it decides that your computer might be a spambot and asks a question to find out if you're a human.
If you have a static IP then you very probably do have a virus.
If this happens to you frequently, leave a message and I'll white list you.
