I have the Miner ID, (for mining without being any faction). but the molly faction is red. so I went to Trafalgar base and paid money to rep with the Mollies so I can mine in Dublin without being harassed. Once I left the station, all the rep's that are reduced by the bribe are still reduced, but the Molly rep is reduced again. I LOST the money spent, and got negative faction with everybody.
All IDs have some rephacks, which means some reps will be reduced every time you relog or undock. The original draft for the latest update is here. If you scroll down to 85, you can see Miner ID is auto-hostile with the Mollys. If you want to mine Gold without engaged by Molly NPCs, an IMG ID is the best idea.
so then my question turns to, Do i get the money back for the rep, and... how, other than, /restarting can i fix my now destroyed BMM / BPA, rep, due to bribing the Mollies?
Shooting a lot of Corsairs and/or Gauls or bribing their allies will improve things, but generally once you put a Miner or Pirate ID on a ship its rep is normally pretty ruined and not worth converting.
