Lorraine to Omicron 80.....

Hey guys, I am in the Lorraine system trying to get to Omicron 80 and I have located the jump hole but I cannot for the life of me find a way through the damn mine field. Is the Omicron-80 jump hole not accessible? I have been flying around this minefield for almost 30 minutes now and I can't find a way through.

Anyway, just thought I'd post here and make sure that it's even possible.

There's a piece of debry in the middle aprox. of the northern part of the minefield. Find that and follow the path.
