It's exactly the same as looking for something, say I'm looking for my shoes, as long as I'm looking for it I won't find it but I'll find other things that I don't need. When I no longer need my shoes then I'll find them.
People needed to get your skype information because it was something that they could not find, now that it's something find-able they don't need it.
