Amelia, who made a quick stop on Curacao to resupply her vessel with ammunition and food rations, landed her vessel on one of the many hangars that were built on the landing pads on the water.
She contacted the people in the hangar beforehand to gather the needed supplies to speed up the entire process. When she landed she could already see all the goods that she requested. The entire hangar was filled with large containers and crates. Surprisingly there was only one other ship on the other side of the hangar, but it seemed as if the owner wasn't around.
Amelia didn't really care about that either way, as she wasn't planning to do anything suspicious or illegal. As soon as her ship was fully down on the ground of the hangar, she opened the hatch and climbed out of it, beginning to walk towards the little crates that seemed to be the goods that she requested. Upon reaching the crates she knelt down and looked around her, seeing herself being surrounded by large containers and crates, feeling somewhat unsafe around them as it was a perfect chance for a surprise attack.
She was paranoid and normally was expecting bad things to happen in those situations, but not this time. She shrugged to herself and began carrying the little crates into her ship, one by one.
It left a bad taste the last time, but this occasion was not looking as simple as the other one. And even that ended badly, she simply did not put enough effort into the preparations for that supposed to be easy game. And she was careless above all, letting herself cornered by everyone: the suppoed victim, the victim's thugs and even her, the mastermind's ally who was supposed to do the dirty part of the job, without knowing it. She should have known better than to expect her to follow her instructions, especially one that was so unexpected and radical. But she hoped that the professionalism Amelia took up in the LSF would make her act in a tense situation. She was wrong, she just could not think of doing the deed, to take the bait in order to perform an execution. She got shot, she even died... for a short while, it was a close call... a minor yet supposed to be fatal wound by that bullet. She was dead... however, the Junkers on the station was fast enough to act, they've been paid well. Yes, they quickly put her body into a cooler and delivered her to the right place. Yes, The Doctor took care of everything, the genius to whom no one can be compared. It was nothing to her, and the Flower was thankful, Lily Berry was thankful indeed
And right now, she was waiting to take care of one of the problems. It was pure chance that she'd been on planet when Amelia came by and requested landing to take supplies. She had to act fast, having good informators was one thing but she could not afford to let her slip away. Hiring those three mercenaries who've been hiding among the containers in the Hangar was a hasty action, but she had her reasons to not attempt the deed herself. There had been signs of somebody sniffing around whatever she had done in the last few moths. An invisible person of whom even she could not take a glimpse of. That shadow was working behind walls and kept putting obstacles into her way all the time. And she had no idea who was it, how and why that person did... and she was somehow sure that this time her leech will not be far either, and something told her that the Flower's goal today was no mistery for that shadow. But there was something, as this flower was not an ordinary one... she had fangs, just like a Viper
It's been almost a month since the failed attempt to silence Evie forever, the only person who likely managed to sniff some evidence of her involvement in an operation years ago. Yes, she most likely found something otherwise she could not have disappear for such a long time. It took so much effort to find her, silence her so called "bodyguard" and chase her around the whole Sirius Sector only to fail again. Amelia screwed it up, she was too unwilling to act without thinking or was just smarter than she anticipated. It did not matter now, even if Evie was not in scope right now, the chance to eliminate Amelia was right at hand. But she was sceptical as she'd been monitoring the four persons' movements on her PDA, which responded to a sensor placed in the hangar. There was something odd about one of her three mercenaries' movements... his signature was too strong. She could see as the threee cornered the fourth person, Amelia, who seemed unaware of the danger. And just then, when that mercenary went out from behind a larger crate to ambush the victim... a signature was left just where he stepped away from... There was a fifth person, a Fifht Person either under or above the hangar floor! Lily knew this would not be as easy as she expected
- But at least I've got you, little shadow... - she murmured to herself - now... let's stamp out two flies with a single strike...
The Hangar
The three mercenaries were supposed to be professionals, at least they claimed themselves to be. But at least they were experienced, experienced enough to take on an LSF agent who was passing by. They've laid trap in the hanger to where the Planetary Dispatcher arranged the supplies the agent requested. Three men, hiding among the crates and containers and the target really came! Two positioned behind one of the containers to the right of the LSF agent, and their leader to her left, hiding among smaller crates, his handgun ready to be fired upon the target. And minutes after her arrival, while she'd been carrying her supplies, the chosen momentum arrived. The leader, stood up and pointing his gun started moving out of his hiding place, ready to pull the trigger and shoot the woman from behind. However, just as he wanted to do the deed, he slipped and fell onto the floor, his handgun sliding away from him to the feet of the victim
- Dang... - he said to himself
He did not move, he was sure there was already a gun pointed at him, but... he knew he had two friends around, ready to encircle the target while she was busy finding out who he is and what he was up to... until he accidently fell
