I've docked one of the player owned bases and it offered around 900.000.000 for my cloaking device, but as I realised on the forum, the base had just around 200.000.000 on it.
So the question is simple.
Player owned bases could buy equipments from players for higher price than they still have on them?
What happens if somebody sells his equipment to the base for the named price when it doesnt have the sufficient money for it?
Greetings there.
It will give you an automated message telling you the base cannot accept the offer due to insufficient cash.
Give me some minutes and i will be able to forge such a message for you.
It'll probably say "error insufficient credits...bla". Also, I bet that the base isn't set on buying cloaks for 900 mils. I've once docked on a base, which offered 900 mils for my CAU8, but it said "base doesn't buy this item", when I tried to sell it.
Ah Sterlin, The base had enough cash, but it displayed the same error because it was set to sell only.
If a base is set to sell an item, (Min: 0 Max: 0) it will display the "Insufficient Cash" error as well. This error seems to be pretty universal when it comes to dealing with money on the base, where it is not set to accept any goods, or in fact when it does not have enough cash.

Nah, I remember checking the cash it had on it at the time, it was less than what it wanted to buy it for. But yeah, probably wouldn't have worked anyways.
