Dear Sir

On the 15th Feb 819 approx 1:40am SMT I was called to Bethlehem Station following reports of a Capital Vessel in the area.

On my arrival I was surprised by the presence of one of your [TAZ] tagged and ID'd Aquilon carriers. He moved in from approx sector 2D (outside the 5K NFZ) and moored at the station.

TLAGSNET had not detected his arrival, so I presume he arrived by jumpdrive somewhere within the system.

As you are well aware, Pennsylvania is a protectorate of Liberty and falls under Liberty Law. The Treaty of Bethlehem does not except Zoners from the ban on foreign capital vessels as described in Section 3:IV

We also note that the vessel carried Nomad materials in violation of section 1:I of the Liberty Codex.

The captain of the Fifth of Discord proceeded to attempt to argue his case for the law not applying to him. Fortunatly for the carrier captain, the Liberty Police Force respects the treaty of Bethlehem and has a good amount of respect for the Zoners who cross our space and afforded him with a great deal of patience. Sadly the offending captain lacked such patience and activated his jump drive in violation of 1:iv (Fleeing from an officer)

We request that you inform the captain of the Fifth of Discord that he has an outstanding fine within Liberty totalling 20 million sirius credits. This should be paid to LPI-Leavenworth as soon as possible.

Kallisti, Officer Frost,

First, I would like to apologize for this incursion. My people know better than to fly capital class ships into house space....any house space. As it isn't always easy to get ahold of my people in a timely manner, I will pay the fine from our Temple Fund. I will send word to one of my pilots to do so since I'm so far from Baffin.

I will accept responsibility for the Nomad remains as well. I have begun a research project that, well, I would rather not discuss here. He may have been acquiring Nomad materials for this project. As I said, I won't discuss it here and it is classified in nature. One day I may be able to tell you why.
