More like "Game does not work as advanced as advertised." (if you're referring to the videos showing off problems, those are ONLINE. Showing how un-smart the "smart AI" are.) And "The game works even better offline." (By less building limitations, and zero AI problems that EA was claiming would happen: 'it can't process the complex systems' etc.)
Just proving that the game is simply a DRM while EA tried to say it was something "better."

I'm no fan of EA but this game is actually pretty damn good. I'm also looking forward to getting a free game of my choice on Origin on March 18th despite having had no serious problems myself.
Yeah, you misunderstood. All those issues are from the 'smart' game that's tied in online, not the 'modded' game that doesn't use the 'intelligence' system.
At the same time, looking at those videos reminds me why I quit playing Sim City a long time ago. And that's just sad - I used to love the game, it just completely lost its appeal to me over the years. And now with EA involved ...
It's in the game ...
(Tell me that you don't hear EA Sports - It's in the GAME! every time you boot up an EA title.)

In fact, the game appears to improve since population counts become more accurate and users can edit outside their city boundaries.
How many people actually bothered to read that article?
Other than Agmen, everyone who posted after that link was posted clearly didn't bother, or they would have read the above quote.
I read it on a tiny smartphone screen on a 10 minute break at work. I am deeply sorry if you were offended by my misunderstanding of the contents of the article due to missing out on a single sentence.
On a more related note, I feel like the electronics specialization needs nerfing. My city's budget is at negative seventy thousand from all the services and utilities yet I'm making over seven million a day just from selling the TVs I create.
... trust EA to completely wreck what could have been a real blockbuster. I love builder games, but I'm staying away from this one. Far away. Always on DRM on a "let's build the biggest city I can make" game which you tend to want to play anytime, anywhere, and be able to pause on a whim? Are they bloody insane? And what's with the tiny construction areas... I've built airports the size of those SC5 maps in SC2000...

The tile size started to tick me off after a city or two. You can build cute-looking European-style villages by using circles, which is nice, but if you want anything worth calling a city, you're pretty much forced to build rectangular avenues with skyscrapers. Even then the population count of 200,000 you'll probably end up with is pretty pathetic (even moreso when you realize cities with that kind of population generally aren't composed of just skyscrapers).
Then there's the utterly retarded always-pick-the-shortest-route traffic which, even if you have 50 parallel roads leading somewhere, will always end up in a huge traffic jam on the road that happens to be the "shortest".
Then again, I got Dead Space 3 for free while I only had to wait a day to play. Not a bad deal at all.
