Freelancer Coop Mode

Is there any possible way to make it so that two people can play through the single-player campaign?... A mod or something? Because I've come up with nothin' on my searches with the awesome power of Google.:(

Any ideas? If not, its not a huge problem, but eh... I'd like to be able to fly with a friend through single player, so he can get a hang of the game.

That would be freakin' SWEET. Especially with the Disco mod wherep eople often find it impossible..

I don't see how it's possible however, with all the cutscenes and whatnot. I mean, different computers load at different speeds.. and.. eh. Maybe an option to "skip" a cutscene too, and when you do, you wait for the others to finish watching (or skip it as well)?

If possible, this could be an incredibly interesting project..

I seriously doubt it. Just go over to his house and watch over his shoulder til he gets the hang of it.

You could make a server for just you and him.
Do missions and stuff. that way he gets your input and wisdom,
you guys fly together, and he learns how the game works.
when hes ready he could do the SP himself.

I've always wanted to to SP with a friend. Hope you find something.

There might be a way to enable mission scripts on a server. I'm not a coder, I wouldn't know, but I think it's theoretically possible. YURIIIII!

Co-op often makes games good, like in halo 3, where you can co-op up to four players =)
I know alot of games who should have had co-op included, but chose not to, which I find stupid.
