Dear Hirotada Watanabe,
It has been some time since the Apostatas have had some contact with the Dragons, or the Watanable Clan in particular. I myself have not had the luck to talk to you yet, as I have not been assigned to any foreign affairs when the relation between The Clan and us were still growing. My Name is Lucas Gonzalez, and I am a Capitán of the Apostatas. However, let us skip ahead of the small talk and come to the reason of why I am contacting you today. I have had an interest in the Tachi-Class fighter of the Dragons for a while now, because it seems to be a really well crafted ship. Since my personal snubcraft, the Estancimento, has suffered severe malfunctions in the past, I fear that I will need to replace it with something else. Since the Tachi seems to be performing particularly well, I would love to get my hands on one of those, and that is where the Watanabe Clan comes to play. If your Clan is willing to spare one of these Vessels, then I would like to pick it up in due time. Of course I am well aware of the fact that this won't be free, and as such I would like to hear about the conditions under which you are willing to spare one in the first place, if there even are any.

Not a request I expected to receive; But I understand your predicament. It is only natural, that in time, you would have to replace your vessels, given the severed supply lines to your estranged homeland. This is also not a request I'd allow lightly. But in light of words spoken, and the commitment we've made to your people, I am persuaded to do so. Under a condition, and a counter-favor. Our vessels are more than mere tools, they are venerated objects, usually passed down from generation to generation - considered a physical extension of a pilot. His very soul. As such, if we were to ever grant you one, you could never use it against our friends, or otherwise commit acts that would dishonor us. Though I have no doubts that you will be able to uphold this, this simply cannot be stressed enough.
As for the favor, I've heard hushed rumors of a new source of artifacts discovered in Corsair space. A planet of sorts, with a ruined atmospheric city, and relics of a civilization gone by. As this is deep in hostile territory, a Dragon vessel could never study this or collect samples. An Apostatas vessel, however, might be less conspicuous, and slip by the Corsair patrols unnoticed. Bring us a shipment of these artifacts and scans of this place, and I will grant you access to one of our Tachi snubcraft. By my word, it will be so.
Good luck.
Signed,

Hirotada Watanabe,
I do understand your concern regarding the course of actions that I will use your ship for, and I hereby demand that I, should I ever use it to harm your friends, or spit on the honor of the Dragons and the Honor of the Apostatas by committing a disgraceful act, will be punished rightfully by the Dragons as they desire. The Tachi-Class does seemingly hold more value to you than I had thought, so I am sorry for asking for one so blatantly. If the Tachi that you are willing to hand out to me was once used by one of your kind, then I demand some information about them, to uphold your traditions and honor the Dragon who has used it. If there are no objections, then I suggest that the fighter will be named after either the Dragon who has used it before me, or after someone that the person has looked up to.
You are right, we are very well capable of extracting some of the mentioned Artifacts and deliver them to the Dragons with some basic knowledge about the location that they were found at, but we would like to know what you require them for. I hope you do understand that the Apostatas as a whole do not support the Idea of making buisness with those artifacts, and as such we cannot grant you access to them if they are going to be used for merely making profit. However, if the Dragons wish to study those artifacts further, then we are more than willing to deliver a shipment of said Artifacts. How many would be required to satisfy the needs of the Watanable Clan ?

I applaud the interest and sensibilities shown. The Tachi line is a recreation of an ancient design, from centuries earlier. Though adapted to modern combat, they hold a historical importance. The vessel in question belonged to one Hajime Hyogo, a Hatamoto of the clan who perished in an engagement against infested forces, approximately three years ago. Perhaps as a strange stroke of luck, he was not using his vessel at the time, and this piece of him was preserved. As he was childless, the vessel was left in our care, waiting for a worthy successor to pass on to. Perhaps, the day has come. But now, that you know the fate, perhaps you will call it his vengeance - and take measures to carry it out? I would neither encourage, nor forbid it.
And in that breath, let me address your other question. It is no secret we fight an uphill battle against not only men, but against demons whose nature we can barely conceive, let alone understand. Alien forces plot to destroy everything we've built, and deprive our children of any future. Conventional warfare fails against the inconceivable. Knowledge, therefore, is sometimes the only weapon we can grasp for in this battle. These alien artifacts would hopefully help increase our knowledge. I have no interest in illicit profit from their smuggling, only the secrets they might reveal. I ask for no set quantity, but as much as you can gather, bring to us - and what you ask for will be yours.
I hope this satisfies your curiosities.

Hirotada Watanabe,
We have been to the Planet and found something that might be interesting for the Dragons. Certainly, this is quite concerning for both the Dragons and the Apostatas, and I am sure that you will understand why when you see it. For that, I give you access to a report within our Data-Base.(//Only the one you see when clicking on the link.)) It appears that, whatever that thing is, is not intact anymore however, and we had no hostilities coming our way when extracting the relics that you requested. We have brought those to Jita Base in Nagano, ready for you to pick them up at any time.
I have thus fulfilled my part of the agreement, and I'm awaiting your part. If possible, I would appretiate if you can provide me a Tachi with the Callsign "Hyogo's.Wrath", to honor the man who flew it before me. If there is the need of some Credits to reoutfit the ship then please let me know how much and where to send it to.
On a side note, since the Tachi is so very dear to the Dragons, would it even be an option to reoutfit it slightly to fit my needs better? That would include things such as a slightly changed powercore and armament, but not a change of the actual design itself. The reason I am asking is because I want to maximize the potencial of this very ship, to destroy those so called 'Demons' and to assure the safety of the people that are dear to me.

Excellent work. I have no doubt this will keep our science teams occupied for years to come. If any useful results are yielded, we will make sure to share them with the Apostatas. The ship's papers have been registered to your name; As such, you may modify it to suit your needs, but I think you will be hard pressed to outmatch and improve its original craftsmanship. It will arrive to Jita within two days. Take good care of it.
I wish you luck in the battles to come.
