Report: Logistics blockade run
Operation Co: Seiji Nebotuda
The Kishiro transports Tekagi Maru and Hexagram-23 are both safely floating in the blue lagoon today thanks to an eventless escort through the Bretonian border systems. 8800 tons of Dueterium were aquired and currently augment the strategic fuel reserve. Plans call for an indefinate number of similar aquisitions so I guess the Imperial squadrons will be seeing a lot more of Edinburg. Pretty system that one, I should like to build my home on Gaia when the war is over...
Contrary to intelligence reports the only resistence we encountered were a few Corsairs in Dublin. What reports we did recieve concerning the SF were of the Normandy and her escort fighter but scans indicated that group never left the Bretonian core worlds even while we passed through Edinburg and Dublin.
We executed a light patrol into Tau-31 with one fighter wing, but again, no encounters.
Our fuel aquisition operation came under attack from the SF yesterday. 2 fighters attempted to destroy the Kobayashi Maru on her first trip out to the Omegas. Squadron leader Nebotuda distracted the SF fighters in omega 49 while Kobayashi made her escape into Dublin. Initial scans indicated the pilots, SFF-Koolmo and SFF-Pope worked for the Bretonia police authority and BMM respectively but a closer look revealed a BAF ID. Scans also indicated the presence of Corsair weapons on SFF Koolmo's light fighter. I am concerned with the implications of Bretonian-Corsair cooperation that this equipment implies but such speculation is outside of my paygrade. Data was sent to Imperial intelligence for analysis. Nebotuda's figher was crippled in the attack but managed to dock with [KNT] Hexagram~23 and transported back to Nago. Systems analysis at Nago revealed power fluctuations in primary thrusters, which is being corrected presently.
I hope it was a scanner problem in the dense asteroid fields that surround Zoner territory and our adversaries have not allied with Corsairs to get their weapons.
Since previous posts seem to ask for a clarification...
You should see the carbon scoring on the corsair guns, its not easy blasting them off their fighters:D...
The SF has no policy on weapons, they can be bought sold and aquired from several means from black market, to salvage, to simply capturing one and reengineering the design. You'll see several SF bearing nomad weapons, does that makes us allied with nomads? No, it means we blasted them off their vessels and reengineered the design.
The SF does limit ship designs since those designs would be substatially harder to come by. (Hard to put together a vessel with big chunks of it melted away or missing, Junkers could since they would have several different copies to work with, all with different holes).
Yea, addon to Firebirds OOC: That was a tizzy, and I actually DID shoot that off a corsair, took me like 80 kills to do it... Those tags are being fixed asap, and I was out of CD's by the time that fighter got ganked.

And Interspace? WHAAAAT?
Umm.. yass..
In the process of "re-aligning" our Trader Corp. The good Mr. Simon insured us for awhile there, during our "transitionary period". I believe you'll see all KNF transports sporting either Kishiro or Samura tags in future. If not.. shoot at em anyway.. I'm sure IND will understand. Right, Jay?
Seems our comms links have become a little crossed up here. I heard the word 'insurance' mentioned in the
ether. Our cover of course, has only limited liability during times of conflict.
Basically if you are shot by your enemies, you are on your own ... Our major syndicate has a habit of not
coughing up the readies during these times. Something about adversity to gunfire and how it chews large holes
in very delicate and expensive machinery and electronics. Payload, cargo ... Etc, etc.
Last time we discussed some sort of interim payments, the answer contained the words 'having a laugh' and
'on yer bike pal' or some such small print terms. Not my bag ...
Anyways Interspace was the tag carried under the original terms of our contract, though the switch will bring
the need for re-negotiation.
Feel free to call.

I have been commisioned to do some long range research into Bretonian Space by a private party. I am not being paid to engage, but to evade and gather information of trade routes and facilities within Bretonian Space. I of course as a humble Ensign cannot accept such a mission without clearance from my superiors, so the decision of taking this contract has been placed on hold until I receive and answer from Command. I look forward to your orders.

Tetsuo Out.
Just don't do anything to provoke a war... oh too late. Who said the KNF high command doesn't have a sense of humour?
Keep us informed of your activity (the KNF central communications network is a better place to discuss sensitive matters than on open comms) ((make use of the KNF forums!:)))
