I thought that might be the issue, so I went ahead and uninstalled Crossfire, did another clean install of everything. Problem still occurs.

Edit: Apparently, I only thought I had tried it after removing Crossfire. Just checked it and it's back to normal!

Hey Guys. Tried booting companion up and it always starts with a "wrong parameter" message. I did the reg edit and pointed to the discovery directory. he tells me to boot it up again when the game is running and bam - same message again. Any help to get this running with the newest version of disco? I am absolutely in need of this because I missed out on a lot of updates since I last played here.

First I tried with 2.01 and 2.02 - both didn't even started but just stopped with an unspecified error message. 3.0 at least seems to recognise the directory and starts normal. But I cant get it to show any systems or import any data.

Delete Wizou's folder in registry and open 3.00 again. See if that sorts it out.

Ok I did that and now the message still pops up but it seems to at least import my current money and cargo hold. still no universe or anything else.

Got these errors once I try to run it:

mfc140u.dll not found
MSVCP140.dll not found
VRUNTIME140.dll

Not sure which runtime or VC is asking for? I had a .exe file with all redists but I can't find it now.

I'm not a computer savvy person, but when I try to find my Discovery freelancer folders there is nothing that this Companion will accept, I seem to only show Vanilla folders, but my Disco game runs so it's gotta be somewhere
