To my knowledge several of those were corsairs. Basically the 101st didn't have a "pay a fine and we might let you live"-instance, but apart from that it seems the same.

Quote:-Still no damn stationed dreadnought which makes me so upset and annoyed, i mean, a battleship like Prox is enough, i love its lore and story and such.
-Ranseurs is useless, junk, its beauty is what attracts people only, no more possible to box with it.

Legates/Osiris that shot at Corsairs and/or refuse to leave fights when told resulting in them "team killing"
101st just shot at caps for going places that are with-in their ZoI, but perhaps a cap shouldn't be. Also you didn't make to many people happy trying to FR5 people for shooting Bretonians
However I can't blame that serious people have avoided to get involved with Outcasts. The only thing which fed the Outcasts the last year was the Taus and their interaction with Colonial Remnants has only downgraded the quality of OC players. What is happening now after the departure of CR is inevitable. In my opinion, it is good to have the OC dead for a small time in order to be resurrected by new blood and see something new as well.

What's with the entire "don't take your caps to bretonian"-thing though?
Oh, and if those outcasts are doing that with the purpose of changing the entire diplomacy, maybe a FR5 was the wrong approach and a 1.2 would have been better. Nowadays factions seem to be less willing to act upon indy trolling though (like, after the [A]-incident).

The problem is that there's not going to get any good out of it if you just leave the new guys alone without any guidance (faction responsibility regarding setting examples). We had that before during a low-activity period and it really didn't get better afterwards.
In late .85 we were at a point where there are quite a few indies with a rather decent level. Considering it, I'd actually say that the certain council-GRN alliances have done their fair share as well of getting outcasts less interested in playing.
edit: Pil, same as to Space. if it entirely dies out you'll just have a short break before it starts over worse than before.

The Tau-23/Tau-37/Alpha region was really bad and eventually drove away lots of people and I can't blame them. Ideas and new blood will come out eventually - have no doubt - it is just a matter of time when that happens. Regardless, it is good to see you agreeing with me in the first part, I think it's the first time it happens

That's wicked old... We've been bringing caps to Bretland for ages now.
And the problem with the OC-Bret is that it is not OC diplomacy. Its 101st diplomacy.
