[font=Times New Roman]Bonnie decided to light a cigarette, and was silent for a moment, trying to remember a name. [color=#FF99FF]"Some hacker told me about some researcher group, sounds like the LPI... LRI or something, why not try them. I'm sure you can bribe... or threaten them to get information on whoever it is your looking for." She shrugged. "Don't know if they will be any use to you or not. But it might be something if thats to...... whatever it is."
Alex contemplated that for a moment and ran a search on the LRI. Within moments he found their server farm. He figured he could probably gain access to it. It wouldn't be particularily easy but it was within the realm of possibility.
"Well," He muttered. "Seems like it's as good a place as any to start. Now all I need to do is find someone who I could extort the information from... any ideas?"
[font=Times New Roman]"There's some doctor there, dunno what his name is though, some weird one, ain't from Liberty though by the sounds of it from what I can remember. I'm going to to go find something to kill... or break." [color=#000000]She stood up and went to leave, planning on heading to the bar to grab a drink or 8 before going to the gun range, although she wasn't sure that would be such a good idea as she was still contemplating shooting herself, or Clyde if she ever saw him again.
Zack walked into Alex's room, and saw him in front of his computer, as per usual, typing away. Then he saw Bonnie, she looked a bit torn, something must of happened. He entered the room, wiping his head with his forearm, smearing grease on his head. "Hey, what's going on here?"
[font=Times New Roman]Bonnie looked over at Zack, shaking her head and taking a seat again. [color=#FF99FF]"Yeah, you know how we stick together and all that nonsense... Yeah, try telling that to Clyde, he ran off. Broke up with me, left a note full of excuses and..... He left. Didn't say goodbyes to anyone ..... and it don't sound like he will be coming back."
She sighed, and tried to hold back a tear. "Should have known it was a lie. He never loved me, I was a fool to think he did."She hit the side of the chair, before wiping her eyes before mumbeling something they could hardly hear."Worst part about it is I didn't tell him... Not after what he did at Barrier... But I think I might be preg.. I might be having his kid..."
"No way, something must be up. He wouldn't just abandon you like that... That's not him, I knew him..." Zack shook his head in disbelief, unable to take in all these facts so quickly. "How sure are you that you have something in the oven?"
He sat down in one of Alex's nice chairs, getting grease on it.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure.. I'll have to get it checked out to be one hundred percent though.... And... and he left me..." [color=#000000]She was abnormally quiet, and shook her head, now crying again. "I would say I need a drink... but I cant even do that till Im sure...." With this she headed to the flight deck, gun in hand, still contemplating weather to shoot a target, or herself. A scrawny boy ran up to her, lucky to avoid a bullet aimed in his direction when he yelled out to her. Bonnie muttered as she realised she missed."What do you want"She scowled as he gave her a Letter, before quickly hiding behind his ship, waiting for her response, and reply. As she read, a new lot of tears formed. She wrote a reply, and gave it to the boy to deliver to the original sender.
Zack entered the Intruder, and found Clyde, and cleared the bay just for him, no one was in sight. His bomber was a wreck, the obvious modifications overdrawing on the core, and overspending fuel. He brought his palm to his face, the amount of work it was going to take to fix that wreck...
He snapped back, he had to get Clyde to safety, and safe from Bonnie, but mostly protecting him from Bonnie. Clyde disembarked, he looked like hell, kicking the addiction must not have been easy for him... He was just glad he was back. As Clyde's feet hit the floor, the Intruder felt home again. It had been awhile since he had been back.
he had called a meeting, an emergency one, nobody knew what was up, he figured the surprise would numb them long enough to make up for Clyde. "Ok, Clyde, we need to get your presence known so your not shot on sight. Get ready." "You sure about this, I only fear one person in this world, and she is gonna be there...." "We'll stand together. I won't let her hurt you, unless she threatens to hurt me..."
Zack chuckled at his own joke, and threw a caring glance at Clyde, they really needed to clean him up.
Zack pushed through the double doors. Looking at them all reassuringly, they relaxed a little bit. "Brace yourself, and don't shoot me... or him.... But especially me..."
Regardless of Zack's warning Alex nearly did shoot Clyde. The sawed off double barreled shotgun was already out of the holster and pointed at Clyde before Zack's words really registered.
"Zack... and Clyde..." Alex said without lowering the gun. "Twenty seconds to give me a good reason not to shoot him." Alex declared.
