Jasons FL patch also expands maneuverability options, which directly affects gameplay. Options like vertical strafing, and rolling while in 3rd person view, are not native to the Disco mod (and allow a barrelroll in 3rd person view). These may be considered cheating.
I also do not see what a maneuverability patch has to do with moving the HUD. Are you using functions from that DLL in the source? At first glance I could not find any reference from the HUDshift DLL to the FL patch DLL, at all.

Yes, the dll is loaded with the "nofovx" function. This somehow places things on the hud where they should be. There might be a way to take care of this in Cameras.ini however. Will work on that.
I'm more worried about Cannon adding that DLL to the anticheat detection and people being autobanned for this;)

Alright well... I don't think this fixes everything and quite frankly I just can't get rolls and additional strafing to work in-game WITH or WITHOUT jflp.dll. Can someone test this please? I updated the guide with an UPDATES section, everyone must read this.
I need someone who's not as bad with this game as me to test it out. See if you can barrel roll, vertical and horizontal strafe after changing what I changed in the UPDATES section.
USE SINGLE PLAYER TO TEST!... just in case.
Edit: Aeternus Doleo, as for the reference http://the-starport.net/freelancer/forum/v...p?topic_id=3647 Adoxa, maker of HudShift IIRC, instructs others to use jflp.dll for widescreen support. On a side note, I have tried disabling jflp.dll and using other methods to "make it look as good" without result... this dll is sort of the backbone of it all.

Yeah I think this pretty much kills this guide. Even if you add modifiers all over the place, the dll is still loaded. Well I tried anyway, but still. If someone could test this properly in Single-Player. Either I'm a complete idiot and binding keys to Roll and Strafe Up/Down is too complicated... or it just doesn't work in Discovery making this guide still viable.
Got me stressed there a little bit pal... I don't want to cause harm to anyone.
Yeah understood, even after, somehow I started getting crashes.
I pressed "Enter" and it would boot me, I did remove it, as was requested.
I did put it before DSAce, however.
Maybe the patch can JUST have the Hud fixes, if someone could contact Adoxa, or whoever made it.
I need to download "hudshift" and "JFLP (Jason's freelancer patch") archives but download link doesn't work anymore... Could someone upload these files to somewhere please?
