Talmont here, back from shore leave.
Right into it tonight.
I shipped my Upholder to Texas to help out with a little Unioner trouble they'd been havin'. Some Gunboat (Transponder: AGS-U|Leipheim) [Rogue Gunboat]) floating every which-way. Commander Wolfe, of the LNS-Ticonderoga was instrumental in providing that little bit of extra 'encouragement'. Long story short, we convinced the blighter to leave via Bering. Turned out to be the bloody mistake of the evening.
Escort to the Gate File Reference:PR-LT#022 Shortly after the Unioner jumped, I started getting reports from two of our Gunboat's that'd entered Bering in pursuit of a pirate. The LNS-Suleman and Bainbridge reported heavy fire from a hostile Unioner Gunboat. No prizes for putting two and two together. The Ticonderoga and I moved ta' the Bering gate to cover our withdrawal. Shame the Gunboat's were disrupted, so we made the jump to the other side in order to cover their approach. Again, didn't work. The Suleman made it to the gate, but returned to assist the Bainbridge, who lost atmo. At that point the Wolfe and myself entered the fray. The LNS-Suleman withdrew, and we intended to follow it, until it's commander returned to the battle. The Suleman copped a nasty hit from the Uni' and bought it. That's where the LNS-Ticonderoga and I bugged out. Nearly lost my wing to that damn Unioner, and a Rogue friend that poked his nose in.

I gathered the surviving forces in Texas. The techie's chucked something-or-other on that wing, not sure what it was, but it smells damn awful. Anyway, I set up a little leadership exercise for our Commanders. The available Gunboats were assembled as a patrol, and given directions and designated leaders (In shifts.).
I encounted Fl.Adm Hale in Manhattan orbit and handed over for the night. That wing's still a helluva long way from what it should be.
My first official duty in the primary Liberty Fleet happened today. I was on patrol in the New York system when I was contacted by the LNS Apache and fell into escort position on a hunt for what was believed to be an outcast ship in Liberty Space.
We were joined by several warships as the hunt progressed, but eventually were ordered into the Alaska system for a raid into the Omicron Minor jump point. We successfully sprung a trap, and would have destroyed a warship, but she seemed to have an experimental cruise drive and was able to move in what seemed like no time flat.
We withdrew from the system after the strike and moved to a punitive strike against Rhienland forces in the Hamburg system. We attempted a fast strike in from the asteroid fields but were countered by several battleships.
I was under the command of the LNS Canada at the time, and we began a fighting retreat into the asteroid fields to deter assault as we withdrew from the system, but a Battleship managed to circle around us and cut off our escape.
I witnessed several rounds hammer into the LNS San Diego and reports of fire on board when I attempted a frontal assault on the Rheinland vessel. My shields were taking several hits and I was cycling torpedoes as fast as they could cycle before my ship was struck by a point defense systems.
My last recollection of the events before waking up in a Liberty Medical ship was a flash of light as the our forces pulled out of the system.
This concludes my report, and while a recommendation from a recruit is not often warranted, I believe the next time we attempt an excursion we should have adequate fighter support. Only two VHFs were involved in the attack and we were drastically outnumbered by the RM forces and unable to provide support to our motherships.

Today I started my patrol in Texas system.
Got information about some Rheinlanders in that system.
Tried to find them, but it seams that they are good in hiding.
After some time of patrolling I ran into transporter who tried to pass next to me with engine components. Lingboxingyu. And at that moment I didn't have right equipment...
I asked some trader to help me with disruptor, but he manage to dock on planet Houston.
I waited him in case he shows up again.
And bingo.
He tried once again to run, but I had help from LNS-Bainbridge.
And after some time of chasing, we catch him.
But still no sign of Rheinlanders.
I began my patrol in the New York system where I was tasked by the LNS Wolfhound to help track several illegal ship operating in the New York system. Myself, Pilots Clark, Ross, the LNS Bainbridge and Wolfhound blanketed the system looking for smugglers, pirates or rogues.
We tracked several I.C.E. ships into the Badlands, but did not pursue due to the difficulty of navigation in the anomaly but I did hold position for roughly ten minutes to be sure the I.C.E. vessels held their position before being called away to assist with a smuggler.
When I arrived LNS Wolfhound had already tracked the smuggler who had a single Blood Diamond onboard, which we believed was a tractored in item from earlier in the ship's travels and let them jettison the illegal item before letting them continue on their way.
We then proceeded to track another ship The Hidden Treasure who had illegal equipment on board. We attempted to pursue but they had a head start heading to Rochester. I managed to take a gun cam image, but it was of poor quality and was not sure that I had gotten the image.
After this situation LNS Wolfhound reported the I.C.E. vessels had retreated into Texas and we pursued. We blanketed the system and discovered this ships in the asteroid fields and moved to engage.
Our forces consisted of.
LN-Gabriel Forge
LN- Jorzza Clark
LN- Barney Ross
LN- LNS Bainbridge
LN- LNS Wolfhound
We were also joined by the =CB= LNS Knightmare after we had begun engaging I.C.E forces.
We discovered some fighters and bombers and a destroyer in the asteroid field. Wolfhound ordered our fighters to engage their snubs and used our two gunships to attack the destroyer. This is when the Knightmare joined the engagement and our gunships shifted fire to aid our fighters.
The I.C.E. Kyrios (Destroyer) retreated from the field, and we managed to splash one of their fighters before they fled the system.
Allied casualties were negligible with only some damage reported to the LNS Bainbridge.
This concludes my second report through my training phase of recruitment. With five total hours clocked in on patrol.
My last few patrols have been rather quiet. I seem to keep missing the action due to my late hours. I have not seen much in the way of pirate, Hacker, or Zoner activity. In a way I have missed the actions I had partaken in the past.
I have however completed my 8 hours of active service (More so in fact) and would like to request transfer to active service within the fleet.

Good afternoon colleges. And Member's of High command. This report comes in late I know but I have to inspect all the Libretonian Fleet so I am quite busy. Two days ago after one of our combat training in the Virginia system we gather our forces and we proseed to the Hamburg system were the Fleet admiral himself lead a small raiding party. When we arrived at Hamburg we were met by a Rheinland Military Flieger. Who I guess was so confused he even tryed to take me out on a date on the Hamburg Bar.
We moved to combat formation and 3 more gunboats with two more snubcrafts showed up. But no criminal activity. We charged in to engage the Rheinland Horeds. The Gunboats were the easy part one by one they all fall down after the entire squadron constrained their fire on them. Up next were the fighters there were no bombers and may I say shooting them down was *pauses* fun. Most of em were inexperienced pilots. I guess the Rheinland war machine I finally tiered up.
After breaching Hamburg deferences we went to Alster shipyard. Were we took some sight seeing. We took Pictures and all that ascertainment stuff. When the admiral saw that we were to much goofing around he ordered us to return to texas. We lost only one bomber and yes another guardian.
How strange it is to be accessing this channel again... and perhaps stranger not to be doing it from the bridge of a Dreadnought.
Alas, times change.
Due to a particularly annoying ion storm which seemed determined to follow me around my patrol like a rabid dog, I had some issues managing to set up my new fighter. Luckily, I had some assistance and finally managed to get my ship in space to a sensible standard.
Except for one particular little nag. Do we in Liberty sell a Class 4 shield... anywhere? I've been looking everywhere for one. I even went into Virginia and pinned down the equipment dealer there. He had nothing.
It's crazy, a passing trader suggested an excursion to Bretonia (completely out of the question, I shudder to think of the state of my patrol wing by the time I got back) but no one knew of anywhere inside our house that could sell such a mundane piece of equipment.
I will try Willard Research station on my next pass by the California system, for now, I did a quick few passes around New York, scanned a couple of traders heading in the direction of Texas and helped a civilian pilot with the location of Pittsburgh. All in all, a quiet day.
Ensign Karlo Planet LA is your place the equipment dealer there has a Guardian Class 4 shield. That's the best shield you can get for a defender. I hope I was of help Ensign. Also congratulations on your return.*nods*
My apologies for the late report, I was indisposed after taking serious fire engaging Order forces with other LNS navy ships.
However, this report does not include those events.
I was on my way back to the New York System while passing through California I was tasked by several navy ships to help find Hellfire Legion ships that were active in the system. LNS Saberuneko and [NG] Tom Mason were who I was assisting. We came across two vessels, and intercepted transmissions referring to "Operation Hammer Down."
LNS forces were already engaged when I arrived and I moved into support.
Both of my supporting vessels were destroyed, with the Battleship Saberuneko going first under the guns of the HF Capital ship. At this point it was me vs the two craft, but the enemy Cap ship left the fight, leaving me to contend with a far more experienced pilot.
The dogfight lasted for many minutes and I was assisted by at least one other Liberty craft who retreated from the battle leaving me to fight the HF pilot alone. Thankfully Barney Ross came across the fight and then ordered me to leave the field.
I retreated through the New York gate, where I was almost immediately tasked with returning to aid Ross by Liberty Police, but by the time I reentered the system there was no sign of either craft.
I then returned to my regular patrol route, and had a relatively uneventful night after that.
