Problem with global server ?

Can someone help me ?
I haven't been able to connect to global server for two days :( and I have internet and all. I re-installed the game, de-activated and activated the mod and still can't connect to global server. It only shows "Connecting to global server..." and nothing (after 20 minutes of waiting still nothing). So i was wondering if it was my connection or something. (sorry if it is the wrong place to post this topic but i really wanna play)

no..i had the same problems also....go inside thr FL folder in the EXE. file and look for a little program called fldirectip......you just need to have the server ip address handy to fill in the blank....type it in and your all set:yahoo:

It also been pointed out to me, though I do not use it ... Connection through the server list on X-Fire is also
a good way to be able to find your favourite roleplay server.
Any other suggestions for when the global takes a little break on us ?

Quick question though. The links submitted with the mod (the new shortcuts) aren't working for me. I am using the Global Server List at the moment. How can I make those shortcuts to work?

I have just bookmarked the eoa web page with the links on it in firefox and just click there. works fine for me.

dont forget you have to have the launcher prog installed for them to work though.

but I thought its 4.83
