I think this thread should remain open until RR disbands. While, so far as I can tell, the differences between RR and its previous iterations (Harvesters, Apocs, Cartel, Jokers, etc etc etc) aren't immediately apparent this does serve as an excellent sounding ground for pointing out that the leader of the group is running a positive rep with the Corsairs whilst bragging about wiping out their fleets/metagaming/etc.
Could be that eventually the examples of horrific conduct and the saddest possible internal standards will make way for kudos, much as the Apocs saw when they transitioned over to the Jokers and cleaned up their act some.
I don't see how a lock of issues unresolved will lead to an improvement of conduct. Furthermore I'm curious to see how the RR's management of internal roster will play out in regards to their utilization of technology granted to an untagged group.

None of those are us.... Or ever were? I'm not sure if you are saying factions "like" us or that these are past names.

Running a positive rep? What do you mean? We are hostile to Corsairs. All of my ships have always been so. They have claimed that we have some ships with messed up reps, at which I have requested MULTIPLE times for them to send me the names of these individuals. They have failed to give me even one name... I have told my guys to make sure they are hostile to Corsairs, they have all confirmed that they are.
PLEASE, send me just the names of these fellas that have messed up reps, PLEASE. Because I will make sure it is fixed...

What do you mean? We keep an open roster.
Here is what I ask. What do you want changed?
We fixed our reps, if there were any problems in the first place.
We fixed our spying methods.
Our feedback was mostly positive until one sour tech deal and we started shooting Corsairs. We were mercing long before Corsairs were a main target an no one complained. We start up in Gamma and a "Ban-Wagon" begins against us.
So you don't have smugglers anymore? I saw those ships disappeared from your roster
' Wrote:I took a look last night when this was brought up to me. Of the ships listed on the roster which are actually there, 11 had a freindly or neutral rep with the sairs. That inludes on rip.red.rorry who was plus 0.9 to the sairs. When I get home I will send ou the full list via skype.
I think what Dusty means is, since you have no tag official factions cannot apply a blanket permission for their technology to your tag. Thus they are required to keep their tech permission up to date with the exact names of the ships who are using their technology.
This means if you have 12 ships with Council technology, you're required to give the [C] the exact name of those 12 ships and if they aren't listed they cannot use Council technology. If you add one, it cannot fly until the [C] have added it to their list here on the forums.
What is likely to happen is you're pilots will be fielding technology before the tech permission has been updated, this is technically a rule violation and you can be sanctioned for it. It has happened in the past.
These creates a ton of work for both you and those who give you technology.
Basically its another reason the Renegades should pick up a tag. There is no valid reason not to use one. All official factions are required to do so and we survive perfectly fine.
I've seen some of your members say you refuse to use them to prevent meta gaming. Yet, you meta game'd OSI's tag in order to spy on our actions. How can you complain about something, then use what you are complaining about yourself? I'm in no way upset or complaining about using the OSI tag to know where to log in and spy on us, it happens; you learn to deal with it. Just pointing out your actions invalidate your claims as to why you aren't using one.
Yeah, a pirate charicter in Rheinland (currently in theta cause he picked up some Zoner Turrets).
That rep gets such because of shooting Hessians/RM lawfuls NPCs while sitting lanes. It's not a neuteral Merc ID'd ship hunting Corsairs...
Furthmore, this ship (the original KuEx) hasn't been fielded in PvP for months except once against that [FL] fella in a oorp fight to test some things.
Although, thank you Zelot, that list will be helpful. The names will be fixed (although the Rheinland ships may get screwed up from time to time.)
@Deadric: You have a valid point... I'm talking to our members about this as we speak.

Not sure what's in reference to the other faction names that got listed. I remember the Renegades when I joined back in April as a group of Pirates that put RP in the forefront. Caleb said not to use /l1 /l2 or "5milRdainau". I had fun. He's right when he says the group had Mercs for a long time. There were, I had one as an unlawful counter balance to my primary character Doneta, a lawful mercenary.
I've been offline for a a few months, barely able to find time for skype, far less on the forums, and even fewer times actually in game. For those times I have been in game, it's been on my OSI or ALG ships with the occasional IMG/Sea Spirit miner in game.
For me, I got back, saw I didn't like the direction things were going in RR and went from inactive to just gone. I have no idea why the smuggler ships were removed from the roster, though I can say that a few of them such as the Mac.An.Luin have not been active for several months. In fact, that player has been gone for so long I think the ship is probably deleted by now.
Thank you Caleb for updating the roster to reflect just the actual current players. I left not because of the bandwagon, but because I didn't like the direction the group was taking. Hope you're not angry, but if you are, I hope it cools at some point. During my early days I had a lot of fun, sorry I haven't been around to keep that going.
You missed my point. This was not about the merc'ing rules but about common sense. If a group is hostile to a faction then all its ships must be hostile. You can't shoot BAF with merc id'd ships while your smugglers land on planet New London.
Speaking about those smugglers, why are they out of the roster?
Anyway, your pirates aren't red to the sairs? How does that make sense? I've seen half of the ships listed as pirating ships raiding gamma at least twice a day so your point is invalid. Don't tell me what you won't take that GB from Theta and help your friends if they are losing.
