Most respectful salutations, Sum-Gok-Li. Even if I think this meeting should have been done with a few cups of sake in Kyoto as tradition dictates, I'm afraid I have to settle this matter as fast as possible and get straight to the point.
In this past time, we have been taking little steps in the field of knowledge on Nomads thank to the constant and dedicated work of the research team being led by your persona at the moment. Please, don't get me wrong when I say 'little steps', which are actually great achievements given our somehow limited technology. Definitely you and your team should be proud of this labor.
However, you yourself have also witnessed how the other side of the fence is right now, as in our current fight against the illegitimate Empire. Since the Naval Forces decided to beat their chests and charge the Bretonians by following the desires of a corporation, we earned precious time to revive old diplomacies, strengthing our influence in some of the upper and eastern sectors of the Crow Nebula and of course having our tools of war improved faster than ever. And now we have reached a critical situation concerning this last matter.
You would have noticed the recent convoys from the IMG itself (Data attached) and some other associaties (1)(2) arriving at Sendai carrying certain commodities for research purposes. And you would also have noticed that most of these cargo deliveries were directly heading to the Military Research modules.
If it didn't give you any clue yet, I'll be clear now: Currently we have five out of eleven modules assigned to Nomad research matters, but we are in the urge to reduce this number drastically down to two, reassigning these three modules to our military engineering team so they can complete the three pending projects in matter of three months.
Again, I don't wish to underestimate your labor here, but I'm quite sure you can understand our priorities. I'll be looking forward to your response.
It most certainly has not escaped my notice! Ever since recusing myself here on Sendai I have observed our Nomad Research Programme competing for space with the military engineers. Whilst my subordinates complain to me, I have begun to explore options for moving some of my research off Sendai altogether.
Recently I have been making more contact with the Order. I know your feelings for them, you have made them known in the Court many times in the past. I would ask you to set aside your distrust of them, and allow me move whatever scientific modules I require over to their space.
I believe that some of my recent forays into Alien territory were well received, acting as an escort to Order vessels undertaking reconnaissance by force.
On my return from that fateful voyage, I took time to launch a lightning raid on Planet Kurile, that Samura speck out in the lower Sigmas that has caused the recent conflict with the GMG. Whilst recalibrating my IFF sensors, what should come across my path but a Zoner, brazenly moving - wait for it - Nuclear Munitions to Kurile?
Most people turn a blind eye to Zoners aiding their enemies, due to the need for humanitarian aid of civilians in peril. But the movement of War Material such as this demands our close attention. I would urge you to pass this information on to the Guild at your earliest convenience - and furthermore to pay closer attention to the activities of the OSI in the future.
Any issue I had with the Order has already been settled, don't worry about that.
Now I will just hope their Science Division is indeed willing to cooperate with your team in their bases located through the Edge Nebula. I will just request you to contact me again once you have received clearance from the Order to move your research material so I can set up the proper escort wing for you and your team. And don't worry about the inactive artifacts used during your research process, because I have thought on a way to dump them and obtain something more valuable for our engineers in exchange.
Concerning this OSI company supplying Kurile... I will be honest, it's nothing surprising, so I won't hesitate on letting the GMG Guildmasters know about this in the next meeting. Most people may find Zoners as the good guys in every conflict, but I certainly never believed so, hence they have always been taxed whenever they were found in Kusari. Or simply destroyed if they were found in Chugoku. This will just be another justification for our actions against them.
That was all. Just be careful in your future trips through alien systems with your Order friends. Sayonara.
