Indeed Yber, that was I. I wanted to make it into deeper interaction with you, but got call to hurry and had to abandon plan to talk a bit more. We had emergency situation in NL, battleship on corporate ID with non-speaking English player flying it. BAF bombers started to gather and whole situation was... hot. I wanted to talk a bit how's piracy going these days, about your feelings from game in these days etc. Unfortunaterly our meeting was short due to crisis siutatuion I described above, and as a result it could look as making fools from you. Sorry if you felt insulted, that wasn't my intention. About writing without // - many persons don't want to write to me with ooRP mark because Angels don't exist inRP, so ex definitio our talks are ooRP.
It's been a long time since I've needed some help from an Angel, but just wanted to say thanks to [Angels]Meoshi for taking the time to assist me with an equippment transfer. Nice to know that The Angels are still the polite and friendly people I remember from the first time I came onto this server.
' Wrote:The only interaction I've had with an Angel was... well. I and a dude were pirating somewhere, when he showed up. Saying something like "What do you want?" and sending each one of us 100.000 credits and PM'ing us with "Be nice with traders;)" without // stuff. I'm not saying it's wrong, or something, but I felt disgusted since he "made a fools of us". You should try to work on that a little.
Regards.
PD: As far as I know, the dude was a new Angel.
Angels don't really exist InRP, that's why we don't get involved in serious RP stuff which might alter diplomacy and such, but there's nothing wrong with a casual "Hey there, how's it goin?" here and there just to make sure the RP environment of the server is not harmed when an Angel is present. Based on what you described and the reply Pavel gave you, your run-in with that Angel was pretty much the same deal, and from what I get he gave you the 100k just so you won't go "meh, he got away for free only cause he's on his Angel char" and honestly, I would've done the same and have already done a couple of times. So, I'm sorry if the interaction left you with a bitter taste but obviously it was due to nothing but a simple misunderstanding.
Nevertheless, it could sure help us if you had described how exactly did you expect said Angel to react during that interaction.
And as for the lack of ooRP mark, Angel or not, ' // ' is not required in PM as most people use PM just for ooRP messages and that's why most people treat it as ooRP in nature, whether it is marked as such or not.
It's allright, my, erhm, "complaint" is about the non-needed PM saying "be nice with traders". I've worked my pirate RP and my character's RP, and it's some kind of contempt that someone take me, or even anyone, for a "2millordai" pirate, because, even if it was true, I don't think he can judge.
In short, if you meet some pirates, and you're in a rush, the typical "Hello, how's going?" is allright. Don't PM anyone, that's it.
PD: about "running without paying because he is an Angel", well, if he was on a 5k transport full of ore, I could have thought so, but it wasn't the case:crazy:.

Once more, my kudos go to [Angels]Onyx for more helping advice for my character's backstory and ship choice as well, not to mention some more general RP advice. Thank you!

So after i got over 2 Years on this Server [With older forum Accounts] i asked one Angel last time [Angel]koske and these Dude really helped me most Times, He redirected me to some official Factions like =LSF= , [KSP] he was very patience with me and very nice. I really like him and his wise. He is an good Angel and he helped me some Time with the damn hard Wiki to find Some things in it. I really dont know what to say but he is really Correct and nice from me a Really,Really Positive Feedback to him. He is like an Real Angel if you asking him was he says you the perfect answer if you dont understand it and you dont say it just saying 'okay...' he asking you 'Didnt you understood?'or something like that. He even knows what you are thinking if you are unhappy with his answer or very happy... This angel needs to get promoted really!
A few weeks ago I came back to Disco. I have only seen 1 angel online by then and he was only online for a couple of minutes. I wish that Angels would dedicate more time to their accounts and help people because there are many that needs help. If this is not an option I suggest you recruit more angels. I am not saying that they aren't helping, because once they are online they return an answer and help you, but there just isn't many online.
While I will admit that our activity is low, you have to keep in mind that there are also time zones to contend with. You might not see an Angel when you are online because there are no Angel members who reside in your time zone.
We cannot, nor would we, force anyone in the faction to log on; being an Angel is a volunteer gig. We could use more help, I agree, but there aren't many people willing to do the job. Nor should the Angel faction be the only ones helping new players. That is something all official factions should be doing.
If you need any help, feel free to drop us a PM here on the forums. I'll see if I can get our stuff updated too, the roster of Angels is way out of date. Cheers.
Finally we wish to extend an offer to the Angels, allowing them to distribute tickets at our expense
in order to encourage unregistered pilots to access the neural net.
If you guys could let me know what you think that would be good,
whilst I know it would mean extra work for you it might be a good way
to give incentive for people to log on the forums for their first time.
And it might help the lottery do its intended job a little better,
which was to give even poor people the opportunity to win some money.
(All the money worth of tickets you gave out would be put into the lottery pot
by me so there is no need to worry about money.)
----
Also as a side note, seen you guys on a little more often these past few days.
Never personally had the need to contact any of you but it is lovely to know you
are there for people in need.
