I like the flower-style design. Looking at the incubus we see in Vanilla, The nomad incubi have a rather floral appearance to them, in fact, they remind me of the hostile plants from a mass of MMO's i've played. It'd be good to see the flower-like design reflected in their ships.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
Well, biologically they're more like plants than mammals - they survive on a form of photosynthesis, feeding on energy from stars. Their body structure is also more like a planet, with a harder outer shell and a network of tubes and pathways within that shell.
I also like the new idea. Especially the second, skinnier design. That would be awesome. However, I like the current model aswell, but a change would be good, indeed.

@Aeternus: it probably looks odd because it isnt an actual model, it's just a 2D drawing in GIMP. Yuri is making the model.
I want some too. And thanks, I'll await the finished result then:)

Yuri linked me to this image, which is one of his older models from 2007 or so. The model itself no longer exists, but I think the shape and concept presented by it are almost perfectly suited to the Irra. In particular I like the front shape, good for a forward gun, and the 'tendrils' that loop outwards from the body and reconnect at the rear. I'd still probably go with the bomber-style flower wings instead of the spikes, and make them connected rather than floating, but all in all I think it's a good design concept.
