uh....QCO
learn to fly a Temp, A hussar,
Learn to box, learn to joust, learn to slide
learn to dodge,
learn to skate
learn to mineram.
learn the art of minis,
learn to slip about torps
learn to cd.
might I mention, that, it was us, the QCO
who started the flight school?
learn from Blood Dragon aces,
learn from a Bretonian Bombshell,
learn from the cockiest commodore in space.
Besides being a shameless plug, the flightschool is one of the main parts going for our faction. So, go ahead, make one, but we have already got all the best instructors.
She is rite.. Joining one of the already existing factions such as QCO would be a good start for training of combat basics instead of spending lots of time to create an entirely new concept..
Not to mention the RP problem of an independent combat school. I mean, a flight school is something. A group of people learning advanced combat skills just for kicks and not aligned with the house lawfuls would likely raise some alarms within the house it operates. Just to spice things a bit...
This, is something that would work perfectly on the PvP server. Why not take it there? Does everything HAVE to be on the RP server? Today, it crashed quite a few times because it got to 128 people, soon as it reaches the max, and somebody else tries to join... BOOM, server crash (I think) . Distributing people between RP & PvP servers will be what we've gotta do until a way is found to override the 128 player limit.. Which may never happened. You could put adverts on the RP forums, saying that you should PM the guy running this idea, and saying that they should go onto the PvP server for their lessons...?
A flight school would only teach you the basics of flight... It'd be bloody expensive to "learn" how to be an elite pilot... And they'd hold something back from you to make sure that they can take you down should you decide to go rogue. The best way to find these things out would be to join an existing faction.... Bs| is currently recruiting, and they run training sessions every now and then. I'd personally prefer this option to paying for this "Combat Flight Training School" type thing...
