The Exodus Civilian Explorer was developed but the work of Zoner and Liberty Ship-builders found the public and general pilots and captains were in the need for a new explorer, even though the Ahoudori provided the aspects of exploritory missions, it was too commonly used through-out the Sirius Sector. In responce, ship designers desided to increase hull plating and size of the vessel for proper facilities for true scientific exploration. They also increased the number for weapon hardpoints by 2 extra hardpoints for better protection. However, the powercore limitations, established by House Governments for Civilian ships, could only increase Power-Output to 850,000 u, making it slightly powerfull compared to the Ahoudori.

Since people are wanting some new ships, I made something simple. I had to "dup" a shape and increase the size of one cause it was being, well, alittle bitch about its shape XD. Its really a transport with Gunship weapons, but better if made into a gunship. Like? Dislike? Comment and ask if there are any improvements that can be possible.
That model doesnt strike me as a gunship, more like a armored transport, but not a gunboat, too small. The Trident looks small, but its not based on fighter designs. Being original i think would be perfered, its not original if your using a ship for a basis of a model, meaning using the original model, then make a model that looks almost exactly like the model as a reference.
Well everyone is free to make their own models, just that some will be more popular. While you might not want it to be too similar to the rest of the line, most of them have some common style. I guess the lack of texture will detract from the feel for now, but even with it, that GB is a bit too boxy for Civi tech.
