' Wrote:That is true, but so is the fact that the UC and the Brigands share their tech. So this excuse becomes much better and is definitely better then 'The Tech chart lets me have it, nothing you can do about it'.
Well, as far as I know Unione Corse is not supposed to directly confront either Brigands or LE but covertly report their activities to the royals. If for some reason there is an open confrontation and the LaBrise keeps using Brigand tech because "the cell is green so I can" excuse, then I must say that this attidute is really bad.
There are plenty of excuses which can be found and justify why a faction can shoot the other while at the same time it can freely use all of its tech.

Thats precicely the issue here. The labrise have openly confronted the brigands twice, and then are attempting to use their tech without reprecussions and no roleplay attempt at getting onto the "tolerated" side.
This writeup seems more of a "green cell so i can use nanannanana" attempt than anything else.

Haven't you read? The infocard of the L'Ane clearly state that Brigand tech is shared with the Unione Corse.
Quote:With the formal advent of the Council and the indirect support that movement granted, the Brigands and Unione Corse were suddenly freed to produce vessel capable of ferrying much more ambitious quantities of goods, both illicit and mundane, amongst their bases and construction sites.
That also makes this the only transport we can use, in RP, without breaking ID limitations.
If you ask me, it's sad that you don't even know your own lore of things you posses.
As was mentioned, the L'ane is not the issue. Its everything else you shouldent have that you dont produce. You are hostile to the offical brigand faction, then you dont get their toys. Its that simple.

There's a difference to having it before hostility and after, if they had it before and set it up before, I see no issue with it, and it's not like you can magically take the tech from them in-RP (of course, people would love for it to be like this OORP, with mercs and stuff, which is silly).
Yeah its about as simple as GRN soldiers becoming brigands and packing a battleship with them. The LE does not represent all the Brigands. Just because they want something doesnt mean the lore will magically change

Tell me, what else do we have of the Brigands? I'm curious to know if you actually ever saw one of us flying a Brigand ship other than the L'Ane.

Asco. Unless you don't fly one of the best GBs in the game, which happen to be Brigand made and you can use it.
My opinion is that the open clashing with Brigands should be stopped. UC can't get even a small grip over the black market if they are hostile to the Brigands, and while LE are just one Brigand group, they also happen to represent the whole NPC faction.
All in all, I think something is broken in here. That UC diplomacy suit an army, rather than a sneaky corse family that wish to control a large part of the Gallic underworld. Remember, you are Mafia and black market is your business, actively hunting after Brigands is harmful for business and remember that Brigands are far stronger and numerous than the UC.
A lot of people that respond in this thread are missing the bigger picture - The UC need the Brigands otherwise it will eventually get kicked from the Gallic black market nearly completely.
