Before the update when a heavy captial gun was fired, say the regular Mortor, you had to have about 25% power charge to fire it. Before the last update, you could click the fire button as you saw the power meter come close to the power needed to fire then within the clicks it would finally fire.
Now there is a "charge Time" displayed every time the fire button is pressed, a period of time to wait until the gun is ready. So say for the sake of argument, you need 25% power to fire a Mortor and each shot has a "charge time" of 10 seconds. At 24% you get anxious and press fire. You now have to wait the full 10 seconds to attempt to fire again. Before, when your ship had the power, it would fire, reguardless of how many times you mashed your fire button.
Was this intentional or a side effect of the feature?
Sometimes, when all you want is to gain your freedom, you must be willing to risk it all.
' Wrote:its not only with the power....pressing button also triges the cooldown if the weapon isnt aligned
Yep, this has always been a bug but has become more evident now that we can see the countdown. I believe this has been reported in the bug section, but I am unaware as to if it is fixable.
' Wrote:it does the same for light weapons too, that's why chainfiring works
Um... What?
Chainfire works because you turn on guns as you fire (so they fire at different intervals), not because of a early fire bug that causes guns not to fire.
I allways chain fire on any ship with any guns on any mod ive playd so far and only disco it seems to have the colldown "bug" and chainfire is very compatible withought the "bug" just pres key "x" + key "y" then hold mouse
