A good way to learn PVP is in Conneticut.

Find a few guys who know how to fight, and spend a few hours practicing.

Also, listening to music helps. Idk why, it just does.

Hell Yeah! From flying fighters I came to flying gunboats, cruisers and now - Corsair Dreadnaught. And guess what... I get my ass whopped all the time:lol:

Sometimes I see I'm 'close' to win with guys who I know that are quite experienced, but being 'close' to win doesn't give me the blue message that I desire sooooo much:P

Anyway, still trying, still thinking what I'm doing wrong (READ: Why i don't use my brain and stay calm in most of the fights?).

Try flying caps with CAU 8 - you won't die so quickly, sometimes you may even be able to run:lol:

I know how you feel! I reckon most everyone here would be so many little ducks lined up for easy shooting if this were a realistic combat flight sim, but, this is freelancer. I suck, too.:)

That said, the wikis got a list of general tips and tricks, but this doesn't cover old tactics for caps, or evolving tactics for same with the advent of turret steering.

There's always a few folks that go to conn willing to help you out.
