in my mod this is a light battleship like the scharnhorst class vessels designed to operate in groups of 2 also in my mod a naval gun does something like 1 million damage and has a recharge rate of something like 10 or 15 secs it is designed to match in some way the battlestations midway gameplay just that it will include manipulation of the z vertex (because we are in space) fighters will not have revolute guns and will need harpoon missiles to being able to touch the hull of a battleship so now skill is needed to board a fighter also battleships have very good anti air defence that even include a pair of escort fighters like in real life so it will be more than a challenge to take one of this guys that leaves heavy ships to heavy ships and fighters to fighters i know that we are in space and everything is weightless then why my ship is so slow? thats because you cannot move a space station with a finger, there is something called weight inerta and it still valid in space so thats why shuttles have massive engines to move in space and this have even more massive engines, well.. returning to the point the ship is the same size of a rheinland battleship and his heavyer cousins will be something between 20% and 50% lomger my project intends to replace all the ships ingame with like 300 or so new ships designed for me... the initial features will be
-partially rethinked and remodelled world
-at least 20 new systems
-turret zoom for battleships
-rethinked more dramatic and intense gameplay
-battleships launch 1 to 3 escort planes
-300 or so ships will replace existing ones
-replaced and new factions (lawfull and unlawfulls)
it will not need much more requirements to play the first vertion will even lack of a graphics enhancement but it will surely need a good conection because of the numerous npc's in large scale battles

Doesn't really look like it belongs in space, imo. The rules of ship design that apply in a wet navy have absolutely no bearing in space. While you might be able to take some design cues and use them, you can't design something that would look at home in the water and say it belongs in space.
Also, those guns look ridiculously long and large, completely out of proportion. They also, being designed from a "wet navy" perspective, don't cover the bottom of the ship.
Also, 33 knots, while being a reasonable number on the surface, is uselessly slow in space.
It looks like you started from a cartoon sketch of a wet navy battleship rather than actual pictures.
Perhaps you can gain some inspiration from those.

Other than that, nice design. Could be more streamlined. Also, the guns look HUGE. Perhaps guns on a smaller scale? Also, the guns are mainly on the top. Perhaps spreading out on the bottom as well would be nice. Otherwise, its going to have problems dealing with enemies that go under it. (Or was that your intention as a balancing factor?)
