No you don't... The Spyglass is a HACKERS ship, thank you very much. And if I saw any Zoner with it, I'd be very upset, because Zoners, like most factions, are not allowed in Vespucci, and thus it would be completely ooRP for them to dock to get it.
Second, it isn't the largest ship in the game. The Nomad BS is.
Third, it isn't good, actually. Messed-up hitbox and all.
Thank you. Now I will just slowly back out of here.

RM is reducing RP to harrasing traders or 'players' instead of doing military 'things'.
I doubt you want to argue about that.
...
Self control ftw? No, didn't think so.
This thread is meant to be about Zoners, not the RM... If you wish to complain about the RM, send me a PM. I'll be happy to prove you wrong there.
Ah, I read back through the Zoner Council thread and we did vote out AW as 'true' Zoners... So technically they don't have a council vote, unless we vote to make them an exception (like the Jupiter Guild). If they're currently listed as voting members, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect, though I'd have to read through another dozen pages to be sure...
@Bulldog, I have to agree that Zoners really shouldn't be placing bounties on pirates, it breaks their neutrality. But that only works if people don't pirate Zoners. If people decide to start pirating Zoner, then the Zoners needs to be able to place bounties on those pirating them. That ends up causing more problems, like the NovaPG threatening all Zoners.
ok dudes and dudettes, i seem to have caught the debate already at full speed,:).
Just a resume of my 2 cents:
-Too many "zoner" cloaked traders around, if you talk to them ooc, you can find they have an "immunized" zoner ID'ed transport to make money and fund whatever battleship his/her's heart desires, or even worst to fund an uber pirate character who would take ages to amass the same money by pirating.
-Yes Zoners are "piratable" and yes the factions who do that on a regular basis should get red with Zoners and be denied the dock at freeports and Zoner bases.
-ZR does not issue or claim bounties it's part of of our RP, the RP states most citizens as having obscure pasts, so they don't even want to hear about bounties, they maybe be full of righteousness, but they have bad roots, all of them. They can of course threaten pirates not to to that again but they wont put bounties. I already posted this on the Zoners council, so everyone get your facts straigh, we don't put bounties on anyone, in case of doubt we have all the screenshots to prove it.
-My vision of the Zoners, contrary to the official vision, is more tending to the outlaw without being hostile to the law, meaning some may trade artifacts and cardamine, but they are not exactly hostile to lawfuls. The Houses should mistrust them as outsiders, scan their cargo holds but not attack them outright and pirates should see them as a necessary evil, because since most pirates don't have a large merchant fleet how can they support themselves without supplies? thats where the Zoners, Hogosha and Junkers come in.
That is my vision, it's not "right" or "wrong" version.
-No, Zoners wouldn't start a war, Zoners are reactive not proactive, even pompous asses like the ZR wouldn't start a full scale war (well only if the enemy was very, very weak).
-Yes, Zoner can maintain neutral status, the Swiss have done it why can't Zoners do it, just follow the same directions: close our eyes once in awhile, do favors to one side and then to another, not big enough (military) to cause a threat but not weak enough to be taken without serious losses, and keep crucial trade/passing routes open to all...and give us your money too, we'll take good care of him!
First...example from real life regarding few posts from the beginning
If American goes to Switzerland and there kills or steals from them two countries do not go to war and Switzerland does not closes it borders for ALL americans...It deals only with that individual...
it is same with zoners...if pirate/terrorist attacks taged zoner who is in zoner registry then they can put him on KOS list and for that pirate it would be OORP to dock on any of the zoner bases...
Traders who wear zoner tag in hope to pass near pirates/terrorists are open game.
I really don't see why there is such fuss about it. Zoner traders are just that..traders...there are pirates and terrorists out there who don't care what zoners will think of them or will they be able to dock on their bases.
Best example are pirates and terrorists with very limited ZOI...most of them don't have zoners bases within the ZOI (or have one at most) and only real connection with them is Eagle...who is not zoner ship but civilian...
I have terrorist char...i usually do not attack Zoners...but recently i attacked one in NY...guy made big fuss of it cause i attacked him...(after demanding 2 mill for support of Xenos)....
but zoners with TAZ tag will never be attacked by my char unless they fire first...
Also, i am against limiting docking on zoner bases even if pirate did attacked zoner chars...
why?...cause zoners want to remain neutral...they dont like most people who dock there..they dont need to like them...but like McNeo said..the do nothing...and like that they keep neutrality...
they balance on thin line...imagine of blood dragon attacks zoner, zoners attack back....blood dragons call for help their allies outcasts and they attack zoners....very soon...open war...zoners don't want that and if they want to keep their neutrality they need to swallow few bitter things...its the way of things
I think Doom has pretty well got his Pineal around it there..
Yeah, Zoners are traders, just like any other traders, and as such should expect to have "levies" assessed once in awhile. Jeez, we'd be bored to death otherwise. The only difference is that we're probably not trading our butts off to buy that "uber" barge. We're doing it because that's what Zoners do.
Now, on the matter of reps for those who do choose to attack Zoners, even the mysterious TAZ.. Perhaps you're even right there, Doom. The one incident that really got up my nose was our friend "Phantom", who not only chased me, aka "Reggie", right to my doorstep in Baffin, but laughed in my face because he was ignored by the station turrets. However, the same guy managed to get himself in hot water in numerous other ways, and doesn't seem to be around much any more.
The business about Pirate ID's flying around with Zoner IFF's, and Zoner-cloaked "assassins".. well, there's not really much we can do except berate them soundly when we see them, take a screenie and hope the Admins are in a good mood that day, or just hope that some irate pirate or House patrol WILL blow the crap out of them.
It's dang hard work being a "true" Zoner. Thud, I've screwed my rep up half a dozen times, trying to get everyone in the 'verse in the white zone. I shudder to think of the number of hours I've spent jiggering my bloody rep sheet. I just hope that those who value roleplay appreciate that fact.
For those "faux Zoners", who don't appreciate the fact, and do the work, what can I say. You're a bunch of lazy primate droppings.
Thanks again to Drake for initiating this lively discussion, and to all (except Myriadic...) who contributed. But, I think we've gone full circle and "balanced the Chao", so to speak. Now, if we just had a server wherein to practice what we preach.
Wink wink, nudge nudge. Hope you all enjoyed the tinsel and indigestion. See ya after the New Year.
@Mal- Just because Myradic is not 'registered' dosnt mean anything, your councel does not represent all Zoners.
@Drake Thanks for clearing that up. To put all my cards on the table, I AM in AW, and it was the first official faction I joined, and I must say I got a little ticked at you guys for kicking them out. So whatever I say is biased

About that Pirate ID with Zoner IFF.
There is a story somewhere, RP story. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
People are RP-ing, as i can see.
They are disguised as Zoners (but only with Tag, not with ID), and that is in their RP story.
No need for Admins to sanction them.
They are some kind of assassins, they use their Tag, and they RP as Zoners, so people don't suspect anything.
And then they attack when the target is off guard.
Pretty good idea, if you ask me.
